poor thangs....they dont know nuttin bout birth no puppies.....lol....they are doing fine....nature will take its course and everything will be fine....Zoe has done this before .....she is a pro....maybe she needs to calm them down.....lol....

now about the reminiscing......we got a quarter every friday and it would get you a brown paper bag(poke) of candy and a drink for a quarter....and the poke was so full you couldnt close it....man were those the days....seems like yesterday....

Quarter? QUARTER!! You must have lived on the right side of the tracks! My family's business was the funeral business. We thought a dime was so cool! We would go down to Fenner's and get a Volomilk (remember those marshmellow inside chocolate?) and a cherry coke for a whole dime! WOWZER!!!! :D

She hasnt seemed to have started pushing yet.. but her breathing has picked up a little.. mommy sister and boyfriend are all doing good:thumbup:

I remember living in Japan when I was a little girl. We used to walk down a LONG flight of cement steps built in the side of a cliff that led to the Japanese village below us. We would go down there with our yen and buy candy wrapped in rice paper. YUM!

not the right side of the tracks for sure......we still had an outhouse till i was 6 years old....and from the time i was 7 till i was almost 11 Dad was disabled from 2 major back surgeries.....they raised 3 kids on 255 dollars a month for almost 4 years....believe me i know what being poor is all about.....

ok Zoe it is time for some puppies...

Ooooo, speaking of candy wrapped in rice paper...............anybody remember the candy colored dots that were on long strips of paper? Probably used to buy those for a penny a sheet.:p

Maybe.. she said her stomach is really hard..zoe is doin alot of licking and shes tryin not to bother her...contractions are possibly happening..lol

I never thought we were poor, but I am sure that with my Dad in the Navy and 5 kids, on a military salary, we were certainly not rich. But you know, I remember that at Christmas we thought we hit the jackpot.

Okay guys, seriously, I'm getting a sweet tooth here. Taffy.....I love taffy! Remember the 3in X 12 in strips of taffy way back when. There was yellow, pink, & purple with white stripes for sure....maybe other flavors too. Yep, they were probably a penny too.

Any puppies yet?

That what I was thinking...we were lucky if we got a nickel. You must either be younger than me or your parents were more generous. Heck....I never even had a Barbie doll. They came out when I was little and always begged for one but never got one. Begging didn't work most of the times back then.

Ok, back to see how Zoe's doing....

Mommy almost home and no puppies yet!!!
 
Wendy has drove the whole way home with her blinkers on and made a lengthy trip an amazingly short one LOL!!! 10 mins and she should be here.

We went to an amusement park last month and they had the candy dots...and of course I just had to buy the big red wax lips! Do you remember those things? Boy I am definitely feeling my age here.

I hope we get puppies soon...this is definitely more exciting than any movie on cable TV right now! :)
