I am hoping for an update too. I don't want to call her again and bug her. Just want to make sure everything is ok. My darn computer has been shutting off on me, so I hope she updates soon.

ok this is telling my age but you guys remember those chewing gum cigars we used to get as kids...that made me think of them.....i miss that stuff....and they had to quit making candy cigarettes....cause of the influence on kids.....but boy those things tasted good didnt they....oh k i guess im through reminiscing ....

Heehee - YES I DO! Guess I'm showing my age too! Remember the wonderful RINGS we would get off them and go around and show them off? (for those of you younglings, they were paper rings around the cigars). :)

Oh yes, I remember those too. We use to walk about 4 blocks to a little tiny mom and pop store and get those and all sorts of other candy. You can't let your kids do stuff like that nowdays. Love those good ol days.

And remember leaving the house in the morning on your bike and not coming home until "dark?" No one put out an Amber Alert for me!

It's funny how we are passing time while she is going through this wonderful process. I've bit down my nails, I'm drumming my fingers and thinking of the good ole days!:D

Zoe is now having her puppies!!! and Tara is is stressin!!! This is her boyfriend Wendy and Doug should be here in about an hour and half. I think Tara needs some help!!! LOL!!!

Me too...Have to keep ourselves entertained. but now the excitement begins....Zoe IS HAVING HER PUPPIES......YIPPEE!!!!!!!

Oh, talk about the good ole days........I too remember walking to the corner drug store (I guess it was called) maybe once a week and/or on special occasions....like when The Wizard of Oz was going to be on TV:p....anyway, we would get to walk to the drug store with one thin dime! and come home with a whole bag of candy to eat while we watched our show. Now THOSE were the good ole days!

Hey....if Zoe is just starting to have the pups now, maybe Wendy will get home in time to see some of them being born. That would be awesome.

Remember Tara...............stay calm.......can't stress that enough.

If you have time after the first pup is born & cleaned up, you can weigh the pups.....but it is not something that needs to be done immediately. Most importantly is to keep the pups warm once they are cleaned up and let them suckle from mom inbetween births.
When mom starts to have contractions for the second and other pups, take the first pup & put it another small box on warm towels or towels with a heating pad (on the lowest setting) UNDERNEATH the towels.

Little Momma will sense the nervousness/anxiety from each of you. The important thing is to stay calm. I think the indian women used to go in the corn field because the indian men would make them nervous. *trying hard to cut some of the anxiety*

Tell tara to stop throwing things at you. Zoe needs her and you're doing a great job of keeping us updated. Is Tara on the phone with Sonya? I'm sure Sonya will talk her thru it and give her lots of support.

I just spoke with Tara again. Zoe is staying calm. She has seen a bubble a couple of times. So things should start happening really soon. Tara sounds like she has it under control.

I think he is a nervous dad.. Tara sounds calm to me. I explained to Tara to just rub her tummy if she will let her do that and let it come naturally. To look for a head or little feet in the bubble.. That is how she will know if it is a puppy or the water.

I also told her to have her BF warm some towels.

Of course with Sunshine, I never saw a bubble with water. She just popped out a puppy all at once. In the sack of course.

Oh BTW Tara.. when you see her stretching her neck out, that is when she is pushing. Has she done this at all?
