| Who is due with August Puppies? Hi y'all! I am hoping to create a thread for those of us due with August puppies. Annie Belle was bred June 9, 10, & 11th and should be due around the 10th of August. My prediction is that she will go on the 14th...just a hunch based on milestones in her pregnancy...and based on what I have read so far, we can probably expect this to be in the wee hours of the morning. Lucky for me I am a night owl. We go next week to get an x-ray to determine how many pups to expect. I have been able to hear the heart beats, but still can't tell how many from that (I am guessing there are 3-4 pups). I am extremely excited as this will be our first litter. I am hopeful that I will be able to seek advice as the time nears from more experienced breeders and I can't wait to see those precious little furbabies!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Congratulations on your upcoming litter! How exciting for you. I will be watching this thread closely to keep tabs on all the new upcoming litters. I unfortunately am not among the ones expecting the pitter patter or tiny paws this August. Maybe if I'm really lucky, I can start a thread next August (or later) as my little girl has some growing up to do.

| Gigi is due around August 3rd. She is 2 1/2 years old and this will be her first litter. Yogi will be the sire. She is a short bodied little girl and she weighs around 7 lbs. I am praying all goes well. Pictured is Gigi when she was a year old. |

| Gigi is a doll! My Annie Belle is a little over 7 lbs and the sire, Pepsi, is a wee bitty 3 1/2 pounder. The pictures below are of her belly at 5 and 6 weeks. The other is the daddy. I can't wait to post 7 weeks, because she is getting really big. The babies are up in her ribs right now, but appear to be dropping down some.

| That would be so cool! Congratulations! I am sure we will be doing puppy watches around the same time then. It has been so exciting on here with the July puppies! Hopefully August will be just as spectacular!

| Gigi had her babies yesterday. 2 males and 2 females. Everything went fairly smooth. First pup was breached and took some time to work out but the puppy was fine. It took her two hours from the time the first pup was born and the last pup. Gigi and babies have been doing great today. She is a wonderful little first time mom. The pups were all between 4 and 5 ozs. |

We will go on wednesday to see if the vet can get better pictures to see how many she is having...he did a few but they did not come out good...sees 4 but feels more....last time he saw 5 but she had 7. I wonder what it will be this time.

| What a proud mama she is. The pups look great. I hope Lily will do as well. She still has a long way to go. Was this your first time also? |

| August Puppys We have a litter due around the 26th ! My little girl is a first time mommy We are excited but yet sooooooo scared! She had an ultrasound today but we could only see one little puppy! Vet is watching her closely! we will go back on the 58the day for a ex-ray to determine if it is to risky or not to try to birth natural being that there is only one it may be larger! I have cryed all day just thinking of everything that could go wrong! This will be are last litter (I think) I just cant stand the thought of loosing my girls ! So after these pups both of the girls will be SPAYED! All we can do at this point is pray for the best i have a wonderful vet and I trust him! He might think I am crazy after today i just lost it when i found out 1 puppy he did assure me that it has a strong heart beat and looked wonderful and told me listen we wont cut any corners you got a ? call me at 3am i wont be upset my job is to take care of your babies and thats what i will do!(that helps) but no puppy is worth loosing mommy!I dont know maybe everything will go well daddy is 2.6lbs so he is super small.I am just scared and having mixed feelings at this time! just keep my baby in your prayers! and i will keep you posted!!!! |
