![]() I take back my recommendation of contacting your breeder now that I hear she bred such a small female.

![]() I'm not a breeder, but isn't it also irresponsible for the male to be larger than the female?

![]() My puppy, the one I want to breed isn't from her dogs. It's from a breeder in Arkansas that she bought the litter from. I probably should have mentioned that before, but it totally slipped my mind. Here's the link to her website: Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppies for Sale I don't want her to look bad, she's a lovely lady. Her kennels aren't even like kennels either, it's like a whole other house. Alot of the puppies were in fact in her house, but when they're very young, she keeps them away from anyone but herself and her husband and the vet. They play with them all the time. She also breeds maltese. I don't think that she breeds the coton de tulears, I think she buys those. She wouldn't admit it, but I think she bought my baby's litter because she was angry at the breeder, because there hasn't been an "outside litter" listed on her site since then. I'm making myself look like such a spaz. ;D I should be more clear next time.

![]() The male being larger is not a problem. Many responsible show breeders will use a little larger male if he has excellent qualities needed in a breeding program. That is part of the problem with Yorkies today, everyone keeps breeding them down in size and they are getting more and more unsound. There is so much more to consider when selecting a male for breeding than just size.

| ![]() Theres not that much size difference between the male and the female so I really dont think that matters from reading breeder posts on here about size differences. That female is too small to breed though. I think the tiny yorkie have become a cash comodity because there seems to be so many breeders breeding for them
