| Any reviews for PuppyPetite aka Puppy Boutique in Brooklyn? I found a place in Brooklyn that my husband and I are considering visiting tonight called PuppyPetite (Puppy Petite NYC Quality Puppies For Sale). I've seen many mixed reviews on-line but I'm sure the bad ones always stand out and people mostly comment on negative experiences more than positive. Does anyone have any reviews on them? I want to be sure that they aren't puppymill agents or selling us a sick puppy. |

I just picked a few at random.

| I don't have any personal experience with them but, while they do have many different breeds, I do like that they don't offer shipping - - - requiring new owners to pick up their pup in person - allowing an "open door policy" to inspect the environment and interact with the pups.... The york babies all look healthy... perfectly groomed little faces... I didn't go any further into the site than the first couple of pages re: the yorkies, but that's what I got from it at first glance.

| That's where I got my Lulu and she is healthy to the T. They are pretty popular and the place is packed every night. You always hear bad stories with every good story, and no place is perfect. If I wanted to add to our family, I would consider going there again. Hope this helps. |

| I have know personal experience w/them either but I do know of a few that do and they all (but one) brought home very sick pups. One actually died and they would not do a thing about it. There are much better choices out there for you to find your perfect yorkie. They would/should not be one of them! Good luck to you

| Puppy Petite My yorkie Missy came from there. She is 1 1/2 years old. She is perfectly healthy and extremely active. She was a gift from my son after my first Yorkie Tara died at 14 1/2 years. I was very apprehensive at first, but I had a friend who purchased two dogs there and they were healthy too. Just as someone else had posted, they have many breeds of dogs and many people go there to purchase puppies, the store is always very crowded. |

| OK I see the same both bad and good experiences. Does anyone know of a breeder in the NY/NJ area that is reputable and doesn't charge over $2,000? I really want a puppy/sister for my Mia but I definitely don't want a puppy mill puppy. So upsetting |

| I purchased my Maltese Madison from them ten years ago. She is a wonderful dog and the vet said she is in terrific health. Good Luck. |

| You're right and I don't want to risk it. I'm going to try working with a small boutique by my mother-in-law's house in staten island that works with a private breeder that she knows. lets hope for the best! |

| Personal Negative Experience I have personally dealt with this store and would advise noone to purchase their new baby from them. I purchased my puppy there and he died two weeks after I bought him and have vet reports stating the puppy didn't die of hypoglycemia--which is the only thing not covered in the contract. I battled with Puppy Petite for two months trying to obtain a replacement or a refund, only for them to send me a nasty threating letter from their lawyer saying they'd sue me for slander if I didn't stop posting negative reviews about them. Which, they can't legally do because I have the proper documents to back up all statements made. I still haven't given up and we will eventually wind up in court. After extensive research, I found out that there puppies come from puppy mills and I have the documents to prove that too. Word of advice-find a reputable breeder and stay away from Puppy Petite aka Puppy Boutique. Good luck! |
