| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Gosh, I hate when I miss all the excitement. Congratulations to all involved, Cloe's owner, the OP (grandma), and to all here on YT who were able to help out with getting the little guy to latch on for his first meal. Thanks for the pictures; what a nice little family. Please keep us updated on his condition and progress, and yes, do get a scale and weigh him regularly to make sure that he gains weight and does not lose it. I will continue to say prayers that he continues to do well.

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Good morning everyone .What a difference a day makes, the baby looks so much stronger than yesterday, they both had a good night, he is drinking from mom and the bottle, since I went to pick them up early and they'll spend the day here I'll try to give only mom's milk, even if it takes a little longer.I'll also try to check the vet's papers to find out the baby's weight. They have a few names in mind, but I think they are going with LUCKY, he really is a lucky little baby, so that name will fit him just right.I'll report some more during the day, but before that...coffee anyone???

| Good job. Everything seems to be coming along just fine. Life just doesn't always hand us a text-book case, but that doesn't mean that it can't result in a happy ending. Best wishes.

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | So that you ladies don't forget about me ...I have a question, Baby Lucky has not pupped today, and he has been eating from mom every 1 or 1.30, hard to say how much, but often, unless Cloe has cleaned him, he has not pupped, or peed.Is this normal? And btw the vet. did not weight him

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Couldn't have done it without you all, I do appreciate it. I have yet another question, Cloe is eating Caesar dog food, the one with the maltese picture on them, once a day, a left the food out for her, but she did not eat, I think she should be eating something more nutritional, they bought some cottage cheese tonight. Is that enough for her? Baby Lucky spent the entire day in my house, and all he had was mom's milk, no bottle, so really worries me that she may not be getting the proper food.

| My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Mom should be eating a good puppy food. If she won't eat, boil her a boneless chicken breast. Cottage cheese is good too. I often have to hand feed for a couple days. If you do a search on here, you can also find a recipe for a whelping pudding that will be good for her. make sure she is eating well too |
