| I love this idea that would be a cool way to help him wait. It will still be hard for him but it will let him know it will happen soon. Tell him it is called delayed gratification.

| i got lacey at 8 weeks but the breeder had to leave town due to a death and she knew i would be home all the time with her and knew that i have had small dogs before and live by my vet she did excelent! but i also have other dogs that love to mother and teach puppies.

| Just jumping in here. The breeder let us get our puppy at 6 weeks and that was wayyyyyyy to young. I didn't know that at the time, but I have learned so much since then, especially from this forum. Our puppy will be 9 wks. on Monday, and I can see changes in him daily. He has had alot of extra care, and I have had some sleepless nights, but in the end it is all worth it. We really enjoy and love him!!! |
