How big is U're male U think she bred with?

How big WAS U're female before Breeding??

How big is she NOW with being pregnant?

Have U had X-rays done or ultrasound? If so what has it shown?

When does U're Vet say she is due?

I know it gets upsetting waiting until whelping day and yes if she is pregnant Mother Nature will take her course and U'll have Puppies....I just want U to take her Temp I'd say @ least twice a day and POST everytime U take it here on YT...There are MORE experienced breeders here that will know it's time...Trust me they have HELPED so very many new comers here U'd be suprised at how many they have helped... Also she will almost stop eating, it may be during the night as Tif did...So that's another sign and Tif was a very very big eater. Just allow her to do her thing, I know U're on stand by all the time and it is nerve wrecking...Do U know anyone who has helped whelped puppies before??? Maybe they could come help U and give U advise...Can U post pictures of her belly for me so I can try to see just how big she is??? I'm just trying to help U out. I hope it's soon for U...Holler if U need anything more. U're in my thoughts. Lee

I know she bred with Stewie because he is the only other dog she has ever been around. Stewie is 6.0 lbs and Kallie was 6.0 before pregnancy.. She now weighs 7.75 lbs and this morning her temp was 98.5. I have had an ultrasound and xray done. Ultrasound was 2 weeks ago and he said to me that she had another week maybe two left. Then 8 days ago he did and xray and said 2 pups, then changed his mind to 3 pups and he said he thought she had less than a week.. I posted several pics on this thread of her belly.. She is huge and there is puppy movement.

sounds like it could be any minute......from what i have been seeing on YT...some show signs and some dont.....i guess when it happens it happens.....but most have slowed their eating just before whelping and started digging and panting...so i would look for those things most...most do drop their temp to around 97.9-97.1....so i guess that could help too....when was the day that you started putting diapers on her?...i would count 63 from there...that should be within a week....cause she could have been late ovulating...i am still learning but maybe these are some things that can help...we are all excited for you and the little mommy

Well, I just sat here, drinking my coffee, reading through all the threads, hoping to hear at the end about some puppies being born. And, no puppies yet. I hope momma is doing well. I am praying for you, and momma. Babies will be fine. Not too big, not too small. Just right!
And oh by the way, Happy Birthday ! I will check back to see how you are doing, and momma too. Sending lots of hugs, and prayers.

Well she's not to big yet...My Tif was a whopper let me tell U with carring 6...I thought she was gonna bust. LOL.

Just keep a note book with all her temps in it...Start with the day U started taking them (If U didn't write them down and they are here in this thread U can read through them and find them all here) keep writing them down as I did....

Well sweetie it is so hard to tell with our other litter no xrays or ultrasound, he said he felt there was no need for he thought she was gonna have 4 & she had 4 just like he said..

Litter of 6 had xray done said 6 or 7...6 was right, see one could be hiding under or behind another so this is usually why they up the # a little..Like he said 2 then 3...If that is all she has then I feel U will be okay...

When did he say less then a week to go on her whelping???

What kind of jumping is she doing??? Such as off the couch, over gates??? Or just up on her playpen or crate??? Lee

She is just jumping on her gate.. Not over anything.. She has jumped off the couch a few times but I do not allow her on it anymore until she has them.. Do you really think that she is not that big yet? Do you think she should be bigger because I think she is huge.. I noticed that your Tiffany is almost 13 lbs so do you think that she got bigger because she is a bigger dog.. I can't believe how huge Kallie's belly is. To me it seems like she is having 8 of them or more... Should I be able to count babies by feeling them myself or is that impossible? Do they ususally start showing signs long before labor or can some dogs act normal all day and eat and then suddenly that night go into labor??

pebbles acted normal... ran around... was jumping on her pen... then out of no where.. just stopped... and out popped a puppy. she had been nesting for a couple days though... so i guess that was my sign
she never had any kind of a temp drop either...

A dog CAN act normal. The first sign for mine is always lack of eating. When this happens, don't try to get her to do so. She will be fine. ONCE this does happen, pups usually start to arrive in 24 hours or less. However, only ONE time was everything going normal; no signs whatsoever and we had a litter of three. Shocked me I'll tell ya.

Ruby and Coco both ate breakfast and then had puppies - one at noon and one at 8:00 a.m.

Ruby started running around looking for a place behind the furniture. I had to put her in her whelping pen and block her in there.... then she just panted a few times and pushed. Out popped a puppy. Good thing everything had been set up and ready to go for two weeks!

Well, I was on the "being patient" bandwagon. Now, I'm just plain ole anxious, though. I can't imagine what you must be going through because I'm catching hell and I'm not even there!

I threw fits for days before Ruby had her puppies because she was soooo big and moaned and carried on like any moment we would see a puppy. I am just not a very patient person.... so I'm very sympathetic in this situation.
