1 LB fresh or frozen turkey, 1 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal, or 1 cup cooked brown rice, with shredded fresh veggies. I use carrots and sometimes I use broccoli. I just use as much of the veggies as she will eat, sometimes I can get away with doing more. Just depends on if she'll eat it. I cook the turkey in a puppy chicken broth, but don't over cook it. Then I make the oatmeal, and mix all the ingredients into a food mixer.

This usually last a week, feeding 2x a day. My dog is 5lbs so she doesn't eat as much. I refrigerate the food and warm it up before I feed her, just to take the chill off.

I also give her vitamin supplements. With this or any diet, you should check with your vet to make sure it's right for your dog.

the veggie i love to use is the angel hair cole slaw.. they love it.. of course i chop it even more..

Never heard of this. Where do you get it from? Do you also use the turkey diet? And if so, how do you make it?
