Lucy's coloring is almost exactly like Angel. I think they are pretty little old ladies. My kids get a kick out of that. They just can't get over how I call my yorkie pups when they change colors little old ladies or little ole young man.

Hey..wrong Kaitlyn..Tara is mine...lol..sadly she lost her pups...i will probably be getting her spayed soon since this was the second litter she lost like this...

Oh No. I'm so sorry. Do you know what is causing the problem with her?
Poor little mommy. That can be really devastating.

The vet is not sure...the only thing he can figure out is stress...the only time she gets stressed is when she rides in the car and the only time she rides in the car when she is pregnant is to go to the vet and she looses the pups within a week of going to the vet for a checkup....

Oh my. That is just so sad. I'm very sorry for both of you. What an ordeal. Best wishes to you.

sorry I have not been keeping up with this thread... we had 4 as you know and we have lost three... we have our girl left.. she is just three weeks old today and at 1.4 and I am so nervous for her.. not sure what happened... lost two 24 hours apart.. the first week.. devastating to us.. and to kandie.. the vet would not subq them and tube feeding was just not enough.. needless to say I will learn how to do this myself.. and will never have to depend on a vet again...
this week end we lost a boy.. he was over a pound and is at the vets and I am anxious awaiting a post mortem to be done to see why at 2 a.m he was fine and by 8 a.m. he was gone.. we were shocked.. and I am sorry I have missed so much.. I just have not been able to be one here..
kandie has had litters without any problems so we have no clue at this point in time but again waiting to find out.. anne

Oh no. Anne, I am so sorry that you lost your little babies. That is just tragic. Poor Kandie, and you too. I would be very interested to see what the vet can tell you about the cause of the last babe you lost. Just very sad indeed. All our best wishes and Yorkie hugs to you.

I have been very sad following along with what has happened to your puppies. I know you have been working with them and you must be exhausted. Angels pups will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and they are all gaining her smallest is still considerably smaller then the other pups at 10 oz now, the other pups are at 16 oz. or just below it. I have noticed Angel does not want to feed her pups anymore. Today she started having a bright red discharge especially noticed after urinating. The pups are very active I have been supplementing them inbetween feedings. They seem to nurse as fast as they can, I have to hold Angel down or she stands up to feed them. I feel so sorry for her. She goes right over to them if she hears them whimper. Then she looks at me as if to say what are yoy going to do or do I have too. I have had Angel on antibiotics for Mastitis. I caught it before it got too bad. I am going to start putting milk on a saucer for the pups tomorrow.

Katelin and littlelady... thanks so much.. I feel like a lost sole right now.. and so vigilant for my girl.. so worried as to what has gone with with this litter.. kandie has had healthy babies.. and I am just so devastated as to the fact could I have done more.. this is why I need to learn how to do more on my own.. and I need to bounce back from this.. I guess god had better plans then I did.. hugs to you both...I have never shared an experience of whelping.. then to have happen what happened there are not words to express my feelings at this time....anne

Anne, I know you want to just "bounce back", but this was a really hard thing to go through. Be gentle with yourself. We all do our very best for our moms and yorkies. I know you have done your very best for Kandie and her babies. Sending your my best wishes.
