OH and I forgot...the vet also said that she doesn't think there is ANY way she'll make it to her due date of May 27th...all the puppies are fully developed already and she's only on day 52...:eek: There is actually one puppy already at the top of the birth canal, positioned to come out. I wish the stupid xrays showed up on here...it's really neat to see, it looks like she's about to deliver it any minute, the head is all the way inside the pelvic bone. :p |

Wow! There is so much going on today. Puppies everywhere!! I'd love to see that xray. Congrats to all the new moms. |
Still just one baby.... No more contractions since she had the first one. I know for sure she has at least 2 more from the x-rays. She is just taking a rest. Mamma is doing great drinking water and taking nutri cal Got to get back to her she wount let me leave her for long. Daddy just wont do. |

Still only one pup. I took her outside to see if she had to potty. She acted like she had to poo. I notice the sack of the next pup coming and took her back to the room. She is having contractions but she is not pushing. The sack has been part way out for about 45 mins. Does anyone know how long can she be in this condition? |
Id call the vet, when Kalani did that, it was part way out, and she just stopped, luckily we went to the vet and the xray showed the puppies head was too big to get out of the birth canal. Good luck, I hope everything is ok. |

Thanks Sandy!!! I was really nervous but I saved all the nervousness after she had them, I know she needed me. I just didn't want to do anything that would hurt them so I had to call the vet to get a quick response. Everyone was so nice and helpful. She didn't want to bust open the bags and the cord stayed inside of her and the puppy was on the outside. 3 of them were dry and the other 3 had bags still on them. I just hope the little male does okay. |

Lacey Bug Hi Lady's I have some good news and some bad news. I just got back from the vet. We had to do a c-section. One of the last two pups was positioned in a ball and not able to be born. We did lose her:(. But we did save the other girl. So we have a boy and a girl. I am so glad we went when we did. Vet said if we waited any longer we could have lost both of the girls. Mamma is doing good still a little groggy. THis is the first time I have ever had to go through this and I truly dont wish it on anyone. Bless everyone for all your help and support. I will get pictures later and try to post them in the nursery. Thank you all Me Sue |

I'm so sorry for the tiny soul that didn't make it. It makes it all a bit bittersweet, I'm sure. But congrats on the little ones that will grow up so quickly. :) |
