Allie puppies/April puppies
 

Who besides Allie and Mikayla are having pups in April?
Both of our pups are due April 3rd if the first tie took.

I was starting to think that the first tie did not take and if it took on the second these puppies could be 3-4 days later then April 3.
Because with only 4 days to go I had not felt movement and I always feel it about a week before now.
But I felt it strong last night...So maybe they were always sleeping before...lol
She is much smaller this time. And she had 5 last time.
I can feel 3. Well see........
Her temp is holding around 99.1-99.5.... so no drop yet.
No discharge or no other signs yet. Shes still eating well.
But has a bit of diarrhea this am.

She did have them a few days early last time(Her first litter)
So I'm watching her 24/7 and not leaving the house.
Last time there there were no signs. I went outside to give our neighbor some fresh eggs ,walked back in to 2 puppies on the couch!!!!
I never thought I'd get my new couch clean...Ewwwww
And she had been checking out her whelping box for days.
But she is always on the couch with my husband..So thats where she wanted to have those puppies...Not this time if I can help it.:p

Tinky is due on the 3rd also! Keeping my fingers crossed that she can hang in till then, she's pretty big. She's 7 lbs. and Pete is 3.5 lbs.
Hope you can save your couch this time!! LOL

Wonder how many more are real close this week?
Allie is just under 7 lbs too. She is a "complainer" within days of mating she felt horrible both times. But she was a wonderful mommie.
I hope to get pics of her today and post them.

How the heck did you get your couch clean??? I have sheets and towels that are still stained from whelps.

Mine is do for april 15 , I was wondering who was having babies this month.

Both your dogs are very pretty

I unzipped all the fabric...right away put them in cold water in washer.
Then I always use the same thing for all my whelping towels and blankets.
(I love receiving blankets. The pups little claws dont get caught up in it.)
I use Red Devil TSP /90 you can get it at Walmart the cheapest about 6.99 for a little 1 lb tub. I am OCD about stains...lol!!!
I was worried that it might fade it a little . But thought hey its better then all those stains!
And it all came out...not faded ..looked like new. NO spots left.
So that may come in handy for any of you who have had pups whelp on couches ...beds ...etc...and after Jens having Labs all over the floor.. I was shocked that it even saved her carpeting!

WHat a nice belly shot Janet. I got a litter coming the 20th,Jewels started out at 5 pounds dad is 3 3/4 and she has gainesd a pound so far.

I just took Allies pics..she was not happy about it and rolled around..messed up her hair and pulled her bow out :( Go figure!!!

Janet I will have to take some of the snippy girl (she has been a big crab)and post some,I do not have a digital so my daughter takes them then sends them to me.

Aww more April 3rd babies! I don't think Mikayla took on the 1st tie either...so I'm guessing she won't deliver until the weekend or so...but we shall see!!! :D

Ruby is due April 17th. Her first tie was on 2/14 (Valentines Day) and it happened as I was across the room helping Coco whelp 4 puppies. I looked over and there they were! What a day.

Now Ruby is too huge, and she still has 2+ weeks to go. She groans every time I touch her belly. If I didn't know better I'd say she was ready now. Keeping a close eye for early puppies.

Got a little nervous when Tink started digging up her bed this morning at 4 AM but nothing else has happened so we're still hoping she will just hold on until thursday.

Don't you guys REALLY hate this part...the wait...the worry?? Makes me crazy! :crazy:

Lexie is due the 9th. After going to the vet for xrays yesterday, we will only be having one. :)

My Duckie is due on April 15th if her first tie took. This will be her first litter. Her belly is already looking huge and she still has two weeks to go. Good luck to everyone! This is going to be exciting!

lol...yeah she's pretty big...not as big as Brooke was though

Her xray showed 4...but that vet was an idiot (not my regular) and the xray wasn't that great...I could see 4, but then again it would have been easier had the quality been better. ;)
