Well I don't feel so bad about my hair being in a pony tail all the time now and me not wearing makeup anymore. I do try to get up early and get dressed, take showers at night when all Yorkies and my 2 human girls are asleep. So I don't have to do it in the morning...Now on bath day for Yorkies I still am a mess even with a shower the night before and an apron on while bathing, my hair falls all over my face, it gets frizzy, and you should see it sticking out. I'm trying to let my hair grow out as my 2 oldest daughters (24 & 22) have begged me to for years, I use to have it bedheaded (Short, short in the back and sides) well the back isn't quiet long enough for the pony yet so I use clippies and bobby pins to keep it up, then here comes the falling down part during bath time. So sometimes I threaten to cut it all short again, then their screaming at me not to. So much for the upkeep of us gals. At least our Yorkies look pretty. :) Lee |

I've always wanted to have long white hair (when I get old (er) and pile it on top of my head. But it doesn't suit me or my hair. I'll be a little blue hair with a permanent wave and tiny curls all around my face. Oh, and bangs, I gotta have bangs. :D |
ok girls... we only have one more day! you guys better start pushing those puppies out!! |

No babies from Hadley yet...thank God...I really didn't want to have to deliver babies last night! Her temp is still low, but not quite low enough for babies. I think it was 98.9 a couple hours ago, and her usual is around 101...but we're getting close. Eden is finally doing better. I was checking Hadley temp, looked over and saw her laying on the floor convulsing. She couldn't move her head and neck, it was just hanging off to the side. I grabbed her up and pumped her full of Karo. When she finally came out of it and could move her head again, I gave her a taste of Nutrical and syringe fed her some baby food and pedialyte. I don't know what happened, she always eats really well. She's one of the chubbier ones, and she's also not quite as active as the others, so I'm surprised it was her...but it just goes to show you that you can't ever let your guard down. Even though she's got a fat little tummy, she only weighs 18 ounces at almost 9 weeks. 10 more minutes and she may not have made it. This morning I syringe fed her again and gave her a taste of syrup...but she's up and moving. Still not too active, but it's harder to tell with her since she's more shy. Her eyes look better though...you can tell she's got her sugar back up. Time to start mixing some canned in with their dry... Whew, what a night. Thank you for all the good wishes and prayers! This has been a crrraaaazzzzyyyyy month!!! I'll keep you guys updated on Hadley and do a puppy watch...;) |
Wow Nicki! I'm glad she's doing better! Sending well wishes your way! Well I'm at work. Looks like Meiah isn't having this singleton! |

Niki, So glad little Eden is okay. What a shock. It was very fortunate that you were there at that moment. You think the welp is the worst of it, but no, these little guys just continue to surprise us and keep us on our toes. Glad you had a good outcome here. |

Darn! Deb, you are going to have to put your track shoes on girl and get to moving!! (Like you've been standing still these last few weeks. Ha.) Think we can squeeze a few more puppies in before midnight?? I'll bet our April was the most prolific of all the months. |
