Still dropping.....
 
Now it's 97.7 I don't know how much longer she is gonna go...she is not showing any other signs other than temp drop right now.

I think her temp peaked this morning around 10...I took it 101.1
That's a bit high for her. Then at 12:00 98.5 now 98.1
So I think its dropping. I took some new pics.
Tho its hard to see how big her tummy is being solid black.
Tummy Pics dont show up like Yorkies.
But if you look how little her head is you can see she's huge.

Remember her 1st and 2nd litter were 7 puppies..
How many do you think is in there?

The second pic shows them lined up with the cone shape of her bottom/vulva area. Teats are very swollen. She's ready.
I'm thinking puppies by tomorrow for sure.

she looks like she could pop at any minute.....sorry sweetie but i dont think you are gonna get much sleep tonight....id say by 1100 she will be in very active labor if she aint now

Oh my she looks big..LOL We got milk and Jewels is all swollen temp dropped to 99 then back up so we will have a bit yet. Good luck

Um, yea I think she's gonna be in labor tonight too lol. Who knows though, she might just be trying to fool you :p Get your rest today while you still can!!!! I think there is probably 6 pups in there. Just my guess!

Hey I got a question about her milk....she doesn't seem all that swollen and I only got one teeny tiny drop out of one tit. The others seem dry. Do you think she's gonna produce milk even though she's not even very swollen? I just want to be prepared in case I have to bottle feed.

Allie didnt neither...all is fine..big plump babies.
They dont all have milk right before whelping
But get that milk anyways..I always have it on hand

Now I'm curious about that too. Ruby doesn't have any milk or liquid of any kind in her nipples. I've tried twice and can't find any. That would seem to suggest that she isn't ready yet at all. What do you think?

The main thing the puppies need right after birth is the colostrum. You need to make sure they all nurse the first few hours right after birth. Usually the pups nursing will make the milk come in. Good luck.

Get replacment mil just in case..but everything will be fine .
The "milk" doesnt usually come in until they whelp.

This is pretty bad of me. I do not even have a baby preg. but I have come to the library to check and see how everyone is. LOL

We have a curriculum fair for our homeschool group tonight so we are hanging in town until it starts. Gas is up to $3.55 here and I live 25 miles away. I could not stand it any longer so I told my girls we are stopping a the library so I can get on the computer.

I can tell she is in pain staring at me....
She hasnt ate... She is staying in her whelping box.
I'm pretty sure she's in early labor.

I just remember my Daisy's nipples just looked fuller around this time. I guess her nipples are just smaller than Daisy's lol.

I still not sure...but she is just giving me that stare...staying in her box.
I just feel like she is...but I just dont know for sure yet.
Haven't felt contractions...so I just dont know.
If shes not ,then I'll be very surprised...so we'll see...
