I know its a bit off topic...but yes even in humans its like this. I had a little premature baby at 28 weeks. My Christopher lived fighting for 8 hours before he died. His heart was strong..and the nurses all told me if he had been a girl He would have made it. Then I had another preemie at 29 weeks a year later. He made it at 2 lbs 11 oz.but was in the hospital for 3 months This was 1976 and babies this tiny didnt make it often. But over and over those 3 months...I seen bitty girls come in... go home...over and over...while Jas stayed there. BTW..He is now a BRUT at 6'2" and over 300 lbs!!!!! So maybe Nicki's will end up a brut too...lol |

I know i think this little man will be a strong "fatwad" before we know it and by the time he is 3 weeks you wont be able to tell the size difference |

Yes he has, he's been fighting every step of the way though...he's a strong little guy. He now has enough fight to try and push away the tube when it's time to feed...haha I wondered though...my mentor mentioned that since he was born with the placenta around his neck and fluid in his lungs that he may not have had enough oxygen to his brain, and he may have brain damage as a result. Do you think that's a possibility? What would be an initial sign that he may have a problem? BTW Kimberly, I think you're wonderful too and give great advice! Thank you for all you do    |

Just wanted to note that even if we have been breeding for years we will still come across these speed bumps and it's so nice to have the resources here to get the help we need. I for one have been breeding for 6 years and am still learning new and better ways to solve some of the issues that can arise. I'm so grateful that we have each other...:ghug: |
So sorry you are having such a hard time with this little guy. Glad you have all these wonderful people to help you and keep you company through this. Sending good thoughts your way. |
3 Attachment(s) Okay, I said Ruby is big as a house and is 20" around her belly. Here are some pictures that show how little she is on top and how big on the bottom. Talk about a Pear shape! |
