A post about someone who lost one puppy already And has another fading puppy? I have searched the thread I thought it came in and no post. Was it deleted , or am I nuts? | it was me. it might have gotten sent to your email because of a thread you had answered. i edited it out because i had posted it in someone else's thread that i told I am sorry for their loss. i realized if I let my post stand, it might take away from the other person's thread so i edited that part out. i didn't want to hijack the other thread. |

I just knew I read it. How is your puppy doing? You've been feeding it? (I'm still reading your past posts Does mama have more milk yet? I wish I could help. Its horrible to lose them. I lost one at 4 days with my last litter.

| mama still doesn't have much milk nd yes, I am still feeding. I have a little girl that started going down last night . i have pulled her back to me at least three times today.and then the other boy had been doing poorly but he came right out of it. the other two girls seem to be thriving. I almost lost the entire litter and am still not sure I won't. it has been awful. Thanks for asking. |

| Is there another fading puppy???? I'm so sorry for your litter. I have to hand it to you women that do this. I had my first little baby 2 weeks ago, and decided that I'm not cut out for breeding. I admire you. Jeanie |

as for the puppy the only thing I can think of is it was the last, my friend was probably exhausted by this time.. vet had scared the hell out of her telling her she would need a c section as one baby was not going to come out right..then all came out ok, but you would wonder for each one was it going to come out ok.. we do that naturally, let alone when a vet says this.. I think the baby aspirated myself.. but kathy sure gave it her best to save him..even worked on him after the vet said not to...

This information about feeding newborn puppies has been passed on to me by a very successful show breeder who has been breeding Yorkies for two decades. He told me that the quickest way to set back newborn puppies is to feed them before they are old enough to handle more than their mother's colostrum. I didn't know this before because my vet would always have me tube feed them and I can tell you I did not always have the best outcome. Good luck. I hope your puppies pull through.

| Oh Dee, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize that you had lost a second pup. I know how much this litter meant to you. I pray the others continue to thrive and that mom will be okay. The more I read the more I have to wonder about some of these vets. Sounds like they need to have midwives for dogs, I would love to take a course for that and take up a new career.

| My prayers to you, Ms. Dee, for strength to make it through each hour as you struggle to take care of your little ones. Through all your posts I have come to know that you are a very loving, caring furbaby mommy and knowledgeable breeder. Blessings. May your two little ones R.I.P. On another note, love your home page where you describe yourself as "'a living room breeder.'" Not enough of you around.
