| Hey! My mom had a horrible visit to the vet and she rally needed some reassuring!!! The vet said that she seems to be normal, but it was a fact that she couldn't see. So my mom has a 3:00 appt. she gets there and they made her wait for 30 mins. they take Bonnie(the pup) back and put my mom in a holding room make her wait 20 mins. They come back and asks my mom will they pick her up at 5:20 because they had an emergency! ...she says yeah I guess. Comes back then and they come back there telling my mom I hope your not going to breed her(the groomer) and the vet tells her she seems perfectly normal just neglected and blind, but okay to breed????? My mom asked about vaccinations and she said I don't see where she needs any???? WHAT???? My mom is totally confused! She said that the vet did not mention anything they could do for her! no surgery or eye drops or anything and the groomer tried to get some mats out of her (she said) and come back there and told my mom they would have to heavily sedate her to groom her...my mom was very upset and then had to pay $40.00 and nothing was done to her! My mom gets home and grooms her and she laid in my moms lap and let her groom her. My mom is in love!!!!!! They both found what they needed...eachother! What a story! My mom said those people they bought her from probably laughed all the way home thinking they sold a blind dog and my mom didn't even know. But my mom and the doggy gained BIG time from this! But I told my mom they might not even know she was blind because if she was left outside and they bred her...but they might you never know! |

| Wow! What a horrible woman not to tell you that the dog is blind........and to breed a blind puppy! I hope she is otherwise healthy and the two of them will bond and the puppy will have a forever home with your mom.

| Oh....that is so nice to hear that your mom is in love with this dog! The dog was probably so scared going to a new person, new home and not being able to see. Did your mom give her a name yet?

| Oh how sad, I'm glad she and your mother found each other. I agree with seeing another vet for second opinion. Every time I hear or read a story about people like that my faith in the world crumbles a little each time. I just don't get it.

| I'm glad sweet Bonnie found your mom to love and pamper her! She sounds like she really needs a lot of TLC! Hopefully she can get her to a trustworthy vet that can help her some.

| This is horrible, but I bet this poor baby (and her pups) have landed in a very fortunate situation now. These people play on our hearts...they know dog-lovers will accept or buy a sweetie as soon as they see them. I have never "gone to see" a dog or puppy and not come home with one (haven't gone to a puppy mill, or had the misfortune of visiting a bad breeder either). I must say that I have been on YT for a short time now and have read that people selling dogs are asking to "meet" somewhere offsite, away from their home to show the dog. This would be a huge clue to me that something was fishie. I believe my mother would have done the same thing. Someone stole my Mom's little puppy last summer. They probably did the same thing...advertised her and met someone in a parking lot somewhere. It broke her heart. Good luck to your mother and her new sweeties. I bet she'll have a huge amount of love to give this dog who is so deserving. |
