This is horrible, but I bet this poor baby (and her pups) have landed in a very fortunate situation now.
These people play on our hearts...they know dog-lovers will accept or buy a sweetie as soon as they see them. I have never "gone to see" a dog or puppy and not come home with one (haven't gone to a puppy mill, or had the misfortune of visiting a bad breeder either).
I must say that I have been on YT for a short time now and have read that people selling dogs are asking to "meet" somewhere offsite, away from their home to show the dog. This would be a huge clue to me that something was fishie. I believe my mother would have done the same thing.
Someone stole my Mom's little puppy last summer. They probably did the same thing...advertised her and met someone in a parking lot somewhere. It broke her heart.
Good luck to your mother and her new sweeties. I bet she'll have a huge amount of love to give this dog who is so deserving. |
