Ughh that bothers me so much... Keeping your little dogs inside and keeping your big dogs outside in a kennel or even worse chained to a tree ALL THE TIME.
There are YT members that do this and it bugs me so much. Why isnt the big dog deserving of coming inside? I have big and little and my shepherd is completly inside too. Whats the point of even having the dog if your not going to keep them inside?

I know of many respectable breeders on yorkietalk that do. For reasons of sanitary conditions for each, human and dogs and others I'm sure. Some of them live in much nicer, spacier (if that's a word lol)accomodations with heat, airconditioner and lots of play yard. than if they were put in seperate place. These breeders have more than 1 litter per year, but that doesn't make them BYBer's or puppymillers. I have mine inside but nevertheless I'm not ready to sit in judgment just yet. It's easy to do when only looking at it from a companion or a very small breeder only perspective.

I am so glad that you are bringing the babies inside. Thank you!!! My babies are like little toddlers who crave attention. I can't imagine how their little personalities would be crushed to have them somewhere where they didn't get constant human contact. Good for you!!!

I am not a breeder, have never bred a dog in my life and will never breed a dog. But I hope you will take into consideration the great advise from the breeders on here. Many are speaking from years of experience. I have seen case after case on this forum of badly bred (not saying that yours are) Yorkies who have years of expensive medical treatments, surgeries and medications. Many have mentioned that their babies lived a painful horrible life and died a devestating early death. I know that you are trying to get information and I am glad that you are. But I truely hope that you will reconsider breeding them and have them spayed/neutered and love and spoil them as your babies. I don't think you will ever regret doing that. Yorkies will love you and give you so much more in return than you will ever give them.

As some others have said, please check into other ways to make some extra cash. I know people who do part time work cleaning homes and things like that for extra income. I hope you can find something other than breeding Yorkies to earn some extra cash. Good luck. Thanks for posting and I hope you stick around. I for one would love to hear more from you and see how your Yorkies are doing.

I agree but this person meant outside literally....no respectable or reputable breeder leaves outside in the eliments....but with that being said the op has said she has brought them inside...I just wanted to clarify this statment

Wow, I just read this whole thing! I was going to say shame on you, but glad to read that you are going to be responsible and bring those babies inside!!! Now, please be a responsible breeder and dont just breed for the money. Have the spayed and neuterd as they were obviously mill/byb quality dogs and have been through quite enough.

i truly hope you are on the up and up and really are going to bring your babies in and not just telling us this to shut us up

anyway good luck with what you are trying to do also do you know how long it has been since they all had a good check up if you are going to breed

Sorry had to take a break inbetween giving baths...I know the lady I bought them from gave their own shots so I'm not even sure when they had their last checkup but I have them one for thursday with my vet. and they are all getting pampered with grooming.... I can't wait to see them all shiny and pretty!!! the little male is so matted she said that she would probably have to shave him..I have a question about my little male...I don't want him spraying everything so where can I get the little belly pads?

Belly bands are a god send! I LOVE them!

I buy all mine from members here on YT. If you go to the yorkie items for sale section you will find them. Or even type in belly bands in the search and you will see them.

Yorkies are so social, I cannot even imagine them outside all by themselves.
Mine are so attached to me they don't like me out of their site for very long.
I have told this story before but I'll repeat it for you.
One of my girlfriends was out in her fenced garden with her doxie puppy when an Eagle swooped down and took off with her, there was nothing she could do and poor Daisy was gone just like that.
Angel's mom Emalie (my youngest yorkie's mom) was outside one morning going potty when a coyote grabbed her and carried her away.
I watch mine so very carefully, I am so afraid of something bad happening to them. They are my responsibility & I would be so devastated if something happened to them!
We have hawks that carry jack rabbits off bigger then my dogs

Welcome to YT & I hope you really do learn more about yorkies before you decide to breed them.
