I couldn't agree more. It is a sorry site to see some of the dogs out there that people are selling as Biewers AND with full breeding rights. I feel sorry for the people that pay the kind of $$ they are paying for these dogs that, although I'm sure would make a wonderful family pet, have NO business being bred. It hurts me to the core that some "breeders" sell every puppy they churn out with full rights.. but.. people are buying these dogs. I don't understand it... well, I guess I understand it, just not happy about it. To me, these are not people looking long term at what is best for this breed, but merely a short term "get while the gettin' is good" attitude. Very upsetting. Diana :animal-pa |

I can tell you from my experience in life and that is "people lie" science doesn't. How much do you think a parti Yorkie is going to be worth when AKC accepts the Biewer Terrier? |

Gayle, we don't always agree but I'm 100 % with you on this one! Both dogs AND people are being taken advantage of in this situation. -Diana :animal-pa |

I don't know how much the parti is going to be worth IF the AKC accepts the Biewer. That is not a concern of mine. And if the Biewer is a separate breed from the yorkie, I would not see that it would have any effect on the parti at all. |

Would you be willing to test your Parti's? |
Quote:
Not sure what you want me to have mine tested for. They came from the line that was DNA'd by the AKC. They are descendents of the first registered parti color yorkie who was sired by Champion Nikko's Rolls Royce Ashely. I am not afraid to have mine tested but not sure what information you would get except that they are who the records say they are. Now I challenge you to back up any statments you make about the parti colored yorkshire Terriers. What information do you have? Where did you get the information? has that information been substantiated or is it just hearsay? Have you researched this topic at all? Prove to me that the parti gene does did not exist in the original yorkshire terrier and that no show breeder has ever had a parti colored puppy. Or just come up with anything that shows that it is more likely than not that the above mentioned are not true. |
