| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | That happened on another breeder thread yesterday, too. Things that make you scratch your head in wonder.

| what was meant by your comment I am unsure. However I was just relaying my individual experience with this paticular breeder. And just so you know I do not personally know these people either. I just purchased a dog from them. |

| What was meant was that it's a pretty common occurance for a new member to show up and either give a breeder being discussed high praise, or strong critisim with there very first post(s). No introduction, no small talk elsewhere...just jump right in to a breeder review. Then more often than not, they disappear and are never heard from again. Surely you can see why that's a bit suspicious? |

Any reputable/responsible breeder would want a potential owner to come to their house. In fact, I would wager money that they absolutely insist on it. This not only gives the new parents a chance to meet the entire Yorkie family and see its living conditions but also allows the breeder to meet and size up the individual who will be taking one of their babies home. This can not be done over the phone and certainly not at a halfway point in a parking lot for 10 minutes. I would also like to add that your post has sent up red flags as well. You are new to YT and the very first post you make is defending a breeder. This makes me feel that you are either the breeder in question or you just want to get a stir from some of the other posters. If I have misjudged then, I sincerely apologize, but as I said before, it takes more than a phone call and a 10 minute meeting to get to know someone. | Anyway, since as I can see there are many skeptics in the world I would like to know if anyone could tell me if my yorkie is a little over a year old, would he adapt to having another yorkie in the house with him? I don't want to mess with a good thing, but think I would like to have another one to keep him company on those rare days when my husband is not at home. |
