Hi everyone.. I am new here and just wanted say HI! I am also a new Yorkie owner... first dog ever! Chuey is 4 months old and the best puppy ever!!! I got him as a gift for Christmas... great surprise, I've always wanted one because they are just so darn cute! I just found out yesterday that my little one has been infected with Giardia. I need help...I think I baby him too much!

ok well, suzuki will be 8mths next week and i got him when he was only 8 wks old. Since then i had to feed him myself or else he won't eat. At first i didnt mind because the food (innova puppy) was too big and he was so tiny so i didnt mind. but now hes big enough and he wont eat unless im sitting next to him and feeding him. now im swiching him to wellness becuse it smaller and kind of softer but i need help getting him to eat by himself and tips please!

Jack's last gift

This is a personal story that a couple weeks ago I would have never dreamed of sharing with anyone. But the outpouring of condolences over Jack's passing makes me think you guys might appreciate it, and more, benefit from the lesson I learned from Jack today.

Dental Costs

We have a 8 1/2 year old male Yorkie, very happy and healthy. Our vet is quoting $225 for a basic dental plus another $140 for blood work for a total of $365. They also tell me that because he is over 8 years of age, he is considered a "senior" and requires a more indepth blood test.

That price is up 50% over their price 2 years ago. This seems excessive to us.

Any thoughts?
