MARCH 2009
So the whole family was grieving ,Tia too. Jessie meant a lot to our family. Our 2 boys were young when we got her and enjoyed family holidays with her so their memories were special.
The next couple of days were difficult ,I didnt say anything at work ,just carried on being my usual happy self. In fact you guys on here were the first I really spoke to.I wasn't being fair to Tia to be honest.With Jessie gone things wern't the same and I didnt want to give Tia the attention...

Thor, the canine advocate for oral hygeine

Okay, maybe Thor is not as fanatical about tooth brushing as I am, but I think we can say that he is officially trained to tolerate it.

He's even letting me do his gums!

Thor has been doing a much better job of keeping up with his New Year's Resolutions than I have ever been. I gave us a year for the tooth brush, and he is rocking it after just four months.

SUNDAY 22nd MARCH 2009
Today Jessie had her second stroke, six months since her last. This time I knew it was different. Tia knew something too. For the next 3 days , Jessie didnt eat, drink or want to move into the garden for the toilet.Tia didn't want to play, didnt want to leave her side.On the Wed 25th March we had to make a family decision which broke our hearts.It was kinder to put her to sleep. I held her in my arms as she drifted off to doggy heaven.God...

Kennel Cough-Great Start

SUNDAY 21st SEPTEMBER 2008
Kennel cough was diagnosed and we walked away with a bunch of anti-biotics. Now both dogs on meds it was quite worrying.The bond between her and Jessie grew each day and Jessie was getting stronger each day.After all jabs it was a pleasure to walk them both. Name: jess and tia garden.jpg

Floppy ears, heavy weight - pure Yorkie??

My Yorkie is unusually large and his ears don't stand according to standards. My breeder gave me AKC papers saying he is purebred. His mother weighs 6 pounds and his father 5 pounds. My Boomer just turned 5 months and he already weighs 7.5 pounds!! Also his ears have never stood up. I had a third of the hair on his ears clipped by the groomer, but they still don't stand. However they constantly fold all the way back.

This makes me question if he's purebred. I absolutely love him...
