Happy birthday alfie

Today my little Afie is 1 year old, and still crazy. He has spent today doing his usual, eating, chasing Rosie, sleeping, more chasing, walking, more food and of course more chasing. Oh to be young again, maybe I could keep up with the little darling.

Alfie the nutter

Took the dogs over to Chasewater county park this morning as I live close by and it's good fos socialising the baby's with peiple and other dogs. Unlike last year when we did it with Alfie the water is quite low so you can get right down the bank and by the waters edge where its quite sandy, so I let them off lead for a little play. Rosie had taken quite an interest in a springer that was in the water and following its instincts so was chacing the ducks, so once off lead the little darling decided...

i swore after loosing chloe i'd never get that attatched to another dog, but theres just something about rosie that grips your heart. the way she doesn't let her small size stop her from being a normal dog,never lets alfie win, everyone we meet just wants to love her and she doesn't mind that either. managed to find her this cute little harness on the internet as nobody has anything small enough to fit her, cant wait for it to arrive. shes even taken to the garden swing and lies there like a little...

for such a little dog rosie seams to find an awful lot of trouble.At 14 weeks she still manages to scramble underneath the back of the recliner chair, I descovered the weekend she'd been chewing on the wire,-good thing it's turned off.I've tried blocking her acces off but she still gets under. Alfie loves to flip her onto her back, so I did the same to him just to remind him whos supposed to be in charge and had to hold her back, so she deciced to join Alfie, flipped herself over and started to...

a lovely day

its been a warm and sunny day here in rainy old england. the dogs have had a blast taring around the garden, alfie egnoring my pleas to slow down as his surgery was only 2 days ago, but i dont have the heart to shut him away on a day like this, we may not get many. i finally worked out how to post some photos-i learn something new each time i use this thing-. life feels good for a change, and i'm happy. my dogs continue to make me laugh everday.
