Alfie the nutter

Took the dogs over to Chasewater county park this morning as I live close by and it's good fos socialising the baby's with peiple and other dogs. Unlike last year when we did it with Alfie the water is quite low so you can get right down the bank and by the waters edge where its quite sandy, so I let them off lead for a little play. Rosie had taken quite an interest in a springer that was in the water and following its instincts so was chacing the ducks, so once off lead the little darling decided she wanted to try the water too, luckily she chickened out before she went to deep. We carried on walking, then Alfie noticed a group of ducks on the back and decided to chase them following them in the water upto his belly, then a swan came down and landed in close by and he wanted to take it on, not a good idea and I was forced to grab him and pull him out. Fortunatly he'd got his harness on, swans are beautiful but I wouldn't want to tackle one. Wonder what adventure they'll get upto next time.
