Still the cutest little Yorkie ever LOL Here's a few more recent shots of my little Benji Man! Including a few with his best friend, Hercules, a 4 lb, 14 y/o Maltese. The only dog I've met that even comes close to being as tiny as Benjamin LOL

Benjamin is too cute!! Congratulations on adopting him! He and Hercules look absolutely adorable all snuggled up together, and I can't believe that you just adopted him in April. They look like they have been best friends for quite some time

Actually - Hercules was just rescued today from a kill shelter, at 14 years old some idiot surrendered him because, get this, they where "tired of getting up at night to let him out"

My mom adopted him - she's been without a dog for a long time. Her last broke her heart so bad that it took her a while to find a dog special enough to convince her to try again! Even though he's 14, he's in good shape, so little Herc could have quite a few years ahead of him still! Hercules will be very happy with her, and whenever I go to Utah to visit them, or my mom comes here to visit me, Benji and Herc can hang out, and when my mom travels, Herc will come here if she can't take him with.

OMG!!! You have got to be kidding me!! What in the world are people thinking?!!! Although, I heare things like this all of the time it just never ceases to amaze me that someone could just turn their dog over after 14 years!!!! much less because they didn't want to let him out at night

I'm so happy Hercules ended up with your mom

And he looks quite at home with your crew

I thought the two of them were best friends, and now it's even sweeter to know they haven't really even known each other!! I'm so happy your mom was able to take him in. Both Benjamin and Hercules sound like very very special little guys

Two adorable, precious little souls! The selfishness and hard hearted self centered behavior of humans always stuns and amazes me....Poor little Herc getting kicked to the curb, because he is a senior citizen and has to get up at night to pee.....OMG!!! JUST LIKE ME!!!! and just like the jerk that discarded him after 14 years......Good news is, he has landed in a home where he will be treasured and allowed the priviledge of peeing at night! Of course, Benji is adorable....I am thrilled his future is secured and safe!

so sweet seeing how close they are in just such a short time, so glad your mom took him in, I can't belive that someone could just give a dog up after 14 years. I would sleep next the door or outside for Lola if I had to, just breaks my heart

Benjamin came from a high kill shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized before even getting a chance at adoption because he has no teeth

. He was found as a stray so his past is unknown - but his future looks bright with plenty of spoiling! As a rescuer the shelters often send me their euthanasia list before putting dogs down so I work with other rescues and we try to get as many adoptable dogs out as we can - and occasionally end up finding one so special like my Benji, we can't adding them to our own family!

Cuteness overload!!!! I was going to say that sleepy Benji picture was my favorite, but then I saw the one with his little tongue. But then there was the one of him and Hercules, adorable!!!! And then you had to add Benji and Herc cuddling and you and you see his cute little tongue. OVERLOAD!!! Too much cuteness!!! How can you get anything done with that much cuteness around. I'd just want to be laying there with them.

hehehe, benji sure is cute! i just love his little tongue. And please just tell your mom that I think she is an angel for Herc, few people would have taken him in. p.s now I know where you get your kind heart from
