Omg!!! Sooooo freakin cute...love the one of Benji with his tongue out...and the two snuggled together. Bless you and your mom for rescuing these two precious souls. I can definately see where you get your wonderful heart from!

Growing up we never had a dog - but my mom always rescued cats. We had a large feral colony she got spayed/neutered and we cared for until they all passed away, and we always had a number of house cats. So I've always had animals - and we both believe strongly in rescue!

Benji and Herc really are cute together - But Benji is alot younger and more active then old Herc, they love each other when it's snuggle time, but Herc gets annoyed with Benji - And then it's time for my mom to come pick him up, or for me to go pick up Benji, so it works well LOL

Over the last two years, I have come to understand the positions of the adopter and the adoptee... I have an approx 4 year old Yorkie that is almost perfect in every way... calm, sweet, eager to please, a perfect gentleman. I also have a two and a half year old Terror (no it's not a typo for Terrier); he's a Terror. He's six pounds of Pit Bull; ready to take on anything or anyone in the yard; demands the most attention; demands to be fed first... he's just a Terror! He bit eight people before I would admit I had a problem... I just thought it was situational... that he was stressed, etc. I installed an underground fence... The levels of correction are from 1 to 5. Yesterday, he ran through the fence at level 4 to get to a little boy he had bitten 6 months earlier! We're going to raise the correction to level 5, which should drop a German Shepherd in its tracks... we'll see. When he's sweet (which is most of the time), he's adorable... if I could figure out how to send the pictures, you would melt... but honestly, I'm considering Rescue... I don't know how long I can work with this. Did I mention I am an Insurance Agent? The definition of liability would include a biting dog!

My mom adopted him - she's been without a dog for a long time. Her last broke her heart so bad that it took her a while to find a dog special enough to convince her to try again! Even though he's 14, he's in good shape, so little Herc could have quite a few years ahead of him still! Hercules will be very happy with her, and whenever I go to Utah to visit them, or my mom comes here to visit me, Benji and Herc can hang out, and when my mom travels, Herc will come here if she can't take him with.

I can't believe that!! My pups are not just dogs, they are my children. I couldn't imagine letting them go after 14 years.
