Actually - Hercules was just rescued today from a kill shelter, at 14 years old some idiot surrendered him because, get this, they where "tired of getting up at night to let him out"
My mom adopted him - she's been without a dog for a long time. Her last broke her heart so bad that it took her a while to find a dog special enough to convince her to try again! Even though he's 14, he's in good shape, so little Herc could have quite a few years ahead of him still! Hercules will be very happy with her, and whenever I go to Utah to visit them, or my mom comes here to visit me, Benji and Herc can hang out, and when my mom travels, Herc will come here if she can't take him with.
