| I have one of these too but have never used it. I use the cabinet to set my other machine on. I honestly don't even know if it still works, or how to go about getting it running.

There's a ton of info online if you're really interested in getting it functional, and many original parts on Ebay and some 'been in business forever' sewing machine repair shops. They're fairly easy to work on as everything is very easy to access.

| I recently found out that my sewing machine, brand new, was stolen from my storage. It was a Singer, it will take me sometime to save for a new one, I am super annoyed and extremely....I was so hoping to be in my new home sewing....aarrrrrghhhhhhhhh

| I have a viking designer one -- it is old but still works well. I could not afford a new one of that quality now! I also just bought a juki 5 thread (yes me and ge credit are friends) and I have an elna. I love them all... I would just love to get a new designer one but I have to wait a few years on that. I remember when I first started quilting and sewing someone told me they could have paid for both of their children's college for what was in their sewing room. I do believe them now. If you are starting I would recomend a brother or elna
