I have a viking designer one -- it is old but still works well. I could not afford a new one of that quality now!
I also just bought a juki 5 thread (yes me and ge credit are friends)
and I have an elna.
I love them all... I would just love to get a new designer one but I have to wait a few years on that. I remember when I first started quilting and sewing someone told me they could have paid for both of their children's college for what was in their sewing room. I do believe them now.
If you are starting I would recomend a brother or elna
