| Aww, that poor little baby. She needs a miracle. Hopefully someone will adopt her who can afford all of those surgeries.

| I wish we could take her off your hands, we have 2 loving Yorkshires one male and female here in Mukilteo but wouldn't beable to afford the surgery. Did the doctor give you an estimate on the cost of that surgery? |

| I too wish I could take her but I am facing the same LP surgery for my Gracie and can't afford to pay for it twice, not to mention paying for the spay on top of it. Poor Tweedle. I hope she finds a home soon.

| sorry, without permission I decided to copy a letter I received. below is her situation: She is 5 pounds and both her back legs appear like chicken wings, she gets around fine. The specialist said that her right knee needs to have surgery first because it is the worst and that it has probably been like that since she was a couple of months old. She is the product of puppy mill breeding. It is luxating patella surgery that she needs but it is really far gone the knee cap is almost around to the back of her leg. The surgeon feels if it is not done soon she will be crippled as she is now 7 years old. Same on the left leg but not as severe. I had a offer for the first surgery but then we did not have the funds for the basic stuff that would be needed for the surgery that would run around $300.00 so he went out of town on a job and I do not feel I can keep bugging him. He would probably do each leg for $600.00, he just wants to cover his costs of his b lades, laser tips etc. Last edited by omichka; 10-24-2007 at 07:59 AM. |

| Miss Tweedle has a new Godmother Thank you so much for posting on this little angel. I will be taking care of Tweedle's surgeries. Her first surgery will be on November 8th, then the second approximately 8 weeks later when she has fully recovered. Something about her touched my heart and although I cannot physically adopt her at the moment , I have adopted her in my heart and it is my pleasure to see that she has the best care and most love she possibly can. Her foster mommy Valerie is great and she says Tweedle has a wonderful spirit. Please keep her your thoughts as this beautiful girl is brought to health and prayers for a loving forever home in 2008!

| What a WONDERFUL new angel Miss Tweedle has!!! "As you offer blessings, so shall you be blessed"... (my grandma always use to say!) and we pray that sweet little Tweedle soon becomes a blessing to a loving family of her own!! We'll be watching for updates!! She's a lucky little girl to have found her miracle in you and the tender hands who hold her!!!

Since you have more info. I just wanted to ask........ I got confused on the story first is a letter from the owner did the owner give up the Yorkie for her to get the surgery needed and now the Yorkie is in a foster home?
