| Possible New Home Needed for Sweet Girl Possible new home needed because I can only send her somewhere where she can be provided with what she deserves and what I cannot give. Abbey is an AKC Yorkie who I have had since the day she was born. She is a puppy out of my very first Yorkie and the only one I ever kept. I am at a point in my life- 2 young children and full time job- where I simply cannot give her what she deserves. Don't get me wrong, she is a happy content little girl, but she needs more companionship. She is extremely loving- will sit and stare at you with her big brown eyes waiting for aknowlegement and craves to be in your lap. She has no vices, bad habits (other than occasionally sleeping in my potted plants outside), or health problems. I am simply wanting to rehome her because it is the right thing to do for her. My husband has been telling me for a while I need to find her a good home but I have been too selfish to let her go. I want a home were she will be primarily indoors- unless she is ready to go out, I want her to be groomed, and kept up to date on yearly vaccines and heartwork preventative, i want her to get a lot of attention. i would prefer someone who doesn't work full time, I want her to be the spoiled princess she is. I do not want her to go to a home full of other pets or small children who might chase her around (like my son does). She does get along with other animals- she is the submissive one of our group and will only hold her on on occasion- but I want her to be with someone who is not having to spread their time among too many other things, or someone who can include her. I know this is a long list of wants, but I have had her forever- she is 7 years old. I know it is sad to send her somewhere when she has been with me for so long, but I cannot give her what she deserves. If there is someone out there who can meet most or all of my wants, please notify me. I am not looking to sell, but to simply rehome. She is not spayed yet and I will definitely want to have that done before I rehome her, or be guaranteed and sent proof that she has been spayed by her new owner. I will not let her be used as a breeder. It has been a while since I have posted on here so i will look back at my profile and see if I have a photo of her- I know at one point she was on here in a pink boa. I will also take and load a few shots of her. Oh yeah, my last priority- you must be from Texas. She will not be shipped or flown anywhere. I will want to meet her new owners in person. I am located in Woodsboro, Texas. That is and hour north of Corpus Christi and about the same south of Victoria. Beth Veselka

| This is Abbey from about 4-5 years ago- she was a young girl then and soo pretty- i had her groomed and shaved down yesterday. i have kept her shaved for a while since she is outdoors. her coat grows back very quickly and is beautiful when kept up. she is usually full and long once fall and winter set in.

| So sorry you are in a situation where you feel you need to rehome such a beautiful girl. I hope you find her a wonderful home. So does she stay outside?

| She is beautiful. I would love to be able to take her. But I don't think my husband would go for it. You said they had to be from Texas, what if someone from another state was willing to go to Texas to pick her up? If so, I could get the word out around here too. |

| I hope this little angel finds her new forever home. Please have her spayed before you rehome her. You never know what might happen once she leaves you. |

| She is so pretty! If I was ready to add to my family, I'd drive down to get her. I'd love to have a companion for Kaji, but he too is submissive and I'd hate to get a bossy girl/boy that would push him around. Good luck re-homing her and I hope you find her the perfect forever home.

| Beth, I wanted to tell you a lil about myself and my story. I had a family of 3 yorkies. I had the Mommy (bella) and daddy (dooney)and baby (cupcake) (who is 3 months). I was planning on letting my mom have the baby...but unexpectedly My Momma yorkie Bella passed away 2 days ago , she was our everything, she was on my lap all day long, she woke up up in the morning. I work from home so she was my constant companion. When I lost her a few days ago....I feel so at loss, been crying my eyes out. I miss her so much. I have her precious baby, she is set to go with my mom. She is still here as I am trying to cope with it all and giving daddy extra comfort. Originally when I brought bella home, she was to be my boy yorkie Dooney's playmate so he would not be lonely and have another doggy to play with. We had them together for the last 3 years...not letting them breed, up until this year, I decided we would breed them once to let them create a family. Now with the sudden loss of my bella....Dooney is completely heartbroken, Bella was our everything. She ate first, she barked first, he let he have her way around the house...I know its been two days and this is all normal that we are all so heartbroken. I feel in my heart that Dooney needs a companion and we have soo much love to give...we do not want to breed so getting fixed is no problem. We encourage that, I just feel like my Dooney will be so lonely if I do not find another doggy who will be here with us during our days. My mom has given me the option of keeping the new puppy cupcake but honestly I dont think she will fill that void for my Dooney, he wants a companion his age, he is 7, not the puppy who is full of energy and tugging on his ears all day. I live in California and I wanted you to hear my story. This loss is all sudden and fresh. I dont know what is in store ahead of us. If in time you do not find that home for your precious baby, please keep us in mind as we will be here, still decdiding which route to take, I could easily go buy another dog but I really want to either rescue or find that perfect match for my broken family. If it doesnt happen for us then it wasnt meant to be and I understand that. I wanted you to hear our story and keep us in mind if you do not find her a home, we would love to have her be our new princess... Thank you. Shannon, and Family ~Bella Maria Sofia~ I will miss you everyday baby till I see you again in heaven, you are my angel now... |

| Thank you babygirl Rosie, Im going out on a limb here. I feel like if it was meant to be it will all come together for us. I really want to stress too that I am not trying to replace Bella. As all of you know our pups are one of a kind....The Lord up above wanted my Bella in heaven so whatever he has in store for us next...its his will. I seen this post earlier and just started writing straight form my heart. I live in california but would be willing to drive there. ~~Bella Maria Sofia~~ We will miss you always..our sweet babygirl.. |

I got goose bumps reading this. I will pray that this works out for both of you. You can never replace Bella and I know that is not what you intend to do. But this baby needs a home and you could be the one to provide a loving place for it. I think you are so awesome for being willing to drive. She is a beautiful dog. Have you tried private messaging her to see if this will work out for you two. I am saying prayers that the Lord will guide both of you! I don't know what your beliefs are b_veselka but I am thinking this could be divine intervention. Good luck to both of you! And let us know! | |
