YorkieTalk Newbie! | Marilyn Muttroe lied and cheated.. Why? I ordered what was to be a gift from Marilyn Muttroe in September and 2 weeks later, order status was still "pending". Had problems getting through to customer service but after a few calls and emails, they changed the order status to "shipped". Another 2 weeks passed & no item received! Again, had problems getting through to customer service but finally received an email stating that the item will be shipped "next week" (so they lied!) or if I preferred, I can cancel and they will refund my Paypal. I immediately requested the latter as I was left with no choice but to buy another gift elsewhere and now, days later, they have yet to refund my Paypal account! I was left with no recourse but to file a dispute and MM had the nerve to send me a nasty email basically holding my money 'hostage'. I truly don't understand why they lied and why they made what should be a simple transaction so difficult. Never again! |

| wow sorry you had such a bad experience with them. did you file a dispute through paypal? not sure how many days you need to wait but it sounds like that may be the next step for you if they are giving you the run around.

| This person Marilyn has so many bad reviews, she also has an F rating by the BBB. I am so sorry you have had problems. Plus all of her stuff comes from China.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Yes, I did file a dispute but that just made them angry so now I have to up the dispute. Now, MM left a message saying they're sending the package (after they asked if I wanted it cancelled and I said "YES") and they'll credit my Paypal when they receive the return! Don't know what to do because I read so many complaints from people who couldn't get their money back!! Thanks for your comments.. Together we can inform others of this company's insidious practices and if it means one person not ordering from them who would have, then there's some compensation for my total frustration. |

| Be sure you report them to the BBB. Everything I do or buy, is based on the reviews that I get from Consumer Reports and BBB! |

| my experience with marilyn muttroe BEWARE OF THIS WEB SITE marilynmuttroe.com There are many complaints online about the scam (which I learned after my exp with them) I placed an order on 2/11/14 with marilynmuttroepetboutiqu… for 2 items. Before the item arrived I placed a second order on 2/28/14 for 1 item. I received one item from the first order in early March. I contacted the company via phone and got a response that my second item would be in with my second order. I contacted the company again the end of March and got no response to any of my phone calls or emails. I emailed again in April and got a reply that someone named Lisa was going to be handling my refund for the 2 items I didn t get. I have received no refund or the missing 2 items. On 5/28/14 I sent a message via Facebook to the company and got a reply the same night that they will look into the oversight. On 5/29/14 I again received a message via Facebook that they are mailing me checks and a gift for my troubles and let me know that the matter happened with the old owners. (I seriously smell BS).IN the meantime I have filed a complaint with the California BBB and with Paypal. I have left comments to their Facebook page as well as Yelp. If you want a good if not better dog apparel site please use Baxterboo.com. I have used them for many years and am sorry I tried marilynmuttroe. |
