| Vet in Silicon Valley Area I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good vet in the San Jose, CA/Silicon Valley area. I'm not too sure that I want to continue seeing the vet the breeder brought my puppy to initially. I have a hard time communicating with him since he doesn't speak English very well, and he seems unprofessional over the phone. Any suggestions you could make would be great appreciated. Also, do vets/pet hospitals typically give advice out over the phone (i.e. x and y is happening to my dog, should I bring him in?)? Please forgive my ignorance, I'm somewhat of a first-time Yorkie puppy mommy. Many thanks in advance! |

| certainly they should give you advice over teh phone!!!! my vet is almost an hour away (its in garden grove) but anytime i had a question i could call and ask..... how is your vet being unprofesional over the phone??? i would really get a vet you can communicate with.... look in teh phone book at call around, ask questions, make visits to teh vet and explain that you are just shopping around at different offices, they should be welcoming and supportive. |

I'll try your suggestion out. Thanks so much! And if anyone has any specific vets they would like to recommend to help us narrow our search, that would be great. | |
