| Question about bully sticks I finally broke down and order my guys bully sticks from member AMD. I have read so much good stuff about them I couldn't not get them to try. Well I just have one question:how long do you let your furbabies chew on them. I gave Jada and Bogie one about 1hr ago and they are still chewing. They haven't been this quiet in the evenings ever.LOL I just don't want them to get sick from eating too much attaching some pics of them with their new bullys. Bogie went straight to his favorite bed with his and Jada searched for about 20 minutes for a perfect hiding place for hers. the pics of her are her trying to get up on the bed and standing on the bed waiting for me to put her down

| I let mine work on them as long as they want but I take it away when it's down to about 2 inches. I also take it away after a few days even if they are bigger as the bacteria can build up on them over time. Aren't bully sticks wonderful? |

| I ordered them from a fellow YT member AMD I think the website is westbrookdog.com They are still chewing. I prob should have waited until after play time because Bogie hasn't even cried for his ball and we always play ball every night

| AMD's website is www.westbrookdog.com . That is where we get ours too. I leave Bonnie's bully down for her to get anytime she wants it. There is one laying in the middle of the floor right now. I will throw away a "stub" when I see one. Jadabug, your babies are adorable! Where in TN is Newport? Last edited by Sweetlips6; 01-22-2010 at 05:06 PM. |

| That is an understatement LOL . DH just said it hasn't been this quiet in ages, because Bogie is usually playing with his ball at this time of the evening and he is non-stop for at least 2 hrs playing fetch. I prob wont let them have the bullys every night or they won't get any exercise

| welcome to bully stick heaven, lol I usually let my guys chew for an hour or so and then take them away and cut off the soft ends and put in a sealed container in the fridge. Once they get down to about 3 inches, I toss them. Love the pics!! Very familiar scene

I recently thought it may have caused her a problem but I was wrong, her problem was prompted with her spay surgery - so no bully stick problems. She is thrilled to get them back. Love the pics... your furbabies are Adorable!! Huggs

| We go through about one 14 incher a week...it's the best pacifier ever when I try to go to bed early or want to sleep in. I don't bother to refrigerate them because she goes through them so fast, and I don't think dogs are really bothered by most bacteria that we are anyway. This is a picture from a while back after we came in from a walk and she got a new bully stick. She looks so funny with them when they're so big...but she chews them down quick...now she's figured out that it's easier to chew them into two pieces from the middle when she first gets them.
