| Eye Gunk/Booger Remedy?? Hi All... I know there have been a few threads about getting rid of eye gunk but wanted to see if anyone had any recent discoveries and successful ones. I remove Snickers eye gunk every other day. He lets me since I am super gentle but I wish they would just stop. I like natural remedies, but am willing to try commercial 1's I guess. I have tried distilled water, no luck. I have bought apple cider vinegar and am going to try it. Has anyone used ACV w/ success?? How do you feed it?? Any input would help. Snickers is on EVO Chicken with some canned mixed in the morning (duck, venison, or chicken), has NB Venison/Spotato grainfree biscuits & Spotato chews as snacks, Wellness Pure Venison jerky as treats (potty) and gets apples/bananas for afternoon snack. Snickers will be 8 months old this week and is 3.3lbs. Snick has had eye gunk since the day we brought him home at 8 weeks old. THANKS for any input!!

| I would like to know this too. I have been cleaning Tobie's eyes every day. The next day it looks like I haven't cleaned them ever. I know it's no fun for him for me trying to clean them every day even though I try to be gentle.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | My Harry boy had a brownish discharge for a few days I took him to my regular vet, he put him in medicated eyedrops for 7 days and when I went back he told me that he did not had an infection just to clean his eyes with warm water every morning.., I took him to my holistic vet and she recomended a product called "Calm Eyes" I been using it now for a few weeks and his eyes look great, even my family noticed the change on his eyes. I got it at this site.. Calm Coat I love their products now, I ordered the calm eyes, calm ears and calm coat... I highly recomend it.. and NO I am not affiliated in any way with them, just a very satisfied customer.. hugs, cArmen in nj |

| Thank you...I think I might try the Calm Eyes. I tried giving Snickers Apple Cider Vinegar from a spoon and he always tries everything so he licked up a few gulps and then backed away looking at me, and darted off. He would not come near me until finally I got a treat for him...hahaha must have tasted horrid. The smell is bad enough!! Any other suggestions are HIGHLY appreciated!!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | LOL, my Harry boy is the finickiest of eaters, the smell alone of the cider vinegar makes him run,, so with the calm eyes is super easy, just squirt some in a cotton round and clean his eyes every morning and night for the first two weeks, I am now in the begining of the fourth weeks and down to once a day in the morning, as soon as is no more discharge I can just clean his eyes a couple of times a week, according to my holistic vet..I started my two girls on it too, and their eyes should stay nice and clear.. hugs, cArmen in nj |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I am sure it will work for you too.. I used calm Ears for the first time yesterday.. and it smells so good, I love natural remedies that work.. I did not have any problems with their ears but I like to clean them every two weeks just to keep them clean. If anyone is having problems with ears and the vet has run out of options, I recomend they try calm ears and see.. hugs, Carmen in nj |

| Thanks so much for the suggestion... I am going to order some calm eyes. Violet has the grossest eye gunk, and it feels like a full time job keeping her eyes clean!

| Okay so I use to clean Cookies eyes with water and cotton and it would take the gunk away but leave the the tear stains so I decided to try Calm Eyes. I just got my order of Calm Eyes yesterday and I cleaned Cookies eyes immediately and I noticed the difference right away. Her whole eye area was looking cleaner right away and by night time when I was gonna clean her eyes again it still looked cleaner then the usual, the tear stains was mostly gone. I love this stuff |

| Does this product help prevent the tear stains, or eliminate the already stained hair? |
