| My poor little guy was sick last night. Okay here's the whole story. I got home last night a little after 5, took puppy out to potty because he just woke up from a nap. While we were out he saw our neighbor and ran over to say hi (he's so friendly) and played with her for a little bit. it was very hot out side last night about 90 & humid. When i picked him up to take him in he was panting big time. He ran right inside and ate his supper and drank a bunch of water. We then had a lot of excitement because for some weird reason our electric went out so we were outside talking to the neighbors and he was all excited to see new people. About a half an hour after he ate he disappeared and i found him in his room eating puke he had just thrown up. So I cleaned up the throw up and thought he must of just ate to fast. Then we packed him up and took him out to my mom's house (we had planned to go out there to help her pack up my old things because they're tearing down the house). Anyway on the car ride out there he threw up again, i didn't let him eat it this time. As soon as we got there he took off sprinting to see my mom. I told her to not get him to worked up that he'd been sick. Well on the way into the house he threw up again. so we got him in the air and tried to get him to drink some water, but he wouldn't settle down he was too busy tormenting my mom's dog. He came upstairs to help pack, the upstairs is hot, and he threw up 3 more times. I told my husband to take him downstairs and try to get him to settle down. My mom called our vet, she has her cell for horse emergencies, the vet said she thinks it was the heat and to not feed him anything else, to try and keep him settled and feed him rice and cottage cheese tomorrow. We gave him a little pepto bismal and held him and after an hour he was running around again like normal. We left my mom's at 8:30, he threw up a little spit on the way home and as soon as we got home he passed out on the coach. we put him to bed at 9 he woke up this morning at 6:30 (like usual) and went out and pooped. I mixed him up rice & cottage cheese (i put in a little syrup for taste) and he ate all of it and seemed to have good energy when i left for work. Anyone have any thoughts or any other suggestions. I felt so bad for my little guy. Sorry this is so long.

| It probably was a combination of the heat and too much activity combined. I wouldn't worry about it. Just try not to let him get overheated from now on. I don't think it's anything to worry about. They are like children, you know. They don't know when to stop. |

| No advise or suggestions. Just wanted to say what a trooper your little guy was. Sick, but still running around, being inquisitive, and generally happy-go-lucky. makes you wonder if throwing up 10 times in a few hours won't get him down, what will? |

| Gus did this last week. I think it's because of the heat. Our thermostat went out and it was horribly hot. The pool man had come down and put quite a bit of asid and told us we couldn't go swimming for at least 4 - 5 hours. So of course I have to wait 7 to 9 hours just in case. That's me,,, worry wart. But better be safe then sorry. Anyways,,,,,,, Gus vomited twice, Once in the early afternoon and again about 2 hours later after he ate. He seemed to be fine. He was playing and acting normal. I gave him some nutical and wet the lower part of his body every couple of hours to keep him cool. I did notice he didn't want to drink so I put a little sugar in his water and fed it to him with a spoon. And he took it down with not problems. He was fine the next day and eatting and drinking with no problems. The thermostat was replaced and the pool was good to go by that night, but it really took a toll on my poor Gus. I hope your baby is better today.

| Update. He ate a bunch of rice, cottage cheese, and syrup this morning and he seemed much more like himself when i went home at lunch. He even got out of his playpen again which is not an easy task so he must be feeling a little better. He ate a big lunch of his special diet (for today only) and seemed good. His only problem is he keeps getting syrup on his face and can't get it off. it's funny to watch him rub his face. I tried to wipe it off with puppy wipes, but you know how syrup can be.

| Poor little guy. It sounds like a combo of the heat and too much playing. I hope he feels better today.
