Update. He ate a bunch of rice, cottage cheese, and syrup this morning and he seemed much more like himself when i went home at lunch. He even got out of his playpen again which is not an easy task so he must be feeling a little better. He ate a big lunch of his special diet (for today only) and seemed good. His only problem is he keeps getting syrup on his face and can't get it off. it's funny to watch him rub his face. I tried to wipe it off with puppy wipes, but you know how syrup can be.
