My furkids Donating Member | About the quick finder Just wanted to let you all know about the quickfinder (the new nail clipper). I just received mine and can't use it. My Mom has a mini schnauzer and tried using it on her. Heidi is only 15 lbs so she doesn't have the "big" thick nails. Mom couldn't get the quickfinder to cut the nail without applying ALOT of pressure to the clipper. The clipper handle would not allow the pressure that my Mom needed to cut Heidi's nails. So....I tried it on Sadies nails (Sadie is my little yorkie) Sadie DOES NOT like having her nails cut and is very wiggly. The dog really needs to be still in order to have the light come on so you can saftely cut the nail. Sadie does not do this therefore making in impossible to cut her nails. The quick finder ended up costing me $40.00 with shipping....I just e-mailed petgadgets and asked for a refund. I have read good things about the quickfinder and some bad. I was so hoping this would work as it would have made it safer cutting their nails. Just and FYI for everyone

My furkids Donating Member | I really don't know I have read good reviews on them but, I have also read, not so good reviews. They do sell them for larger dogs. The problem with Sadie (my yorkie) is, she doesn't sit still so I can't get the clipper to stay on her nail. With my Moms mini schnauzer, who is only 15 lbs and the one I bought was for dogs up to 40 lbs, is that she couldn't squeeze the clipper handle enough to cut through her nail. She was afraid that she was going to break the handle. The handles are made of plastic. I just received an e-mail back from petgadgets and from what I understand they will only "replace" them if they are defective...and from what is sounds like...they don't give refunds...I will be really pi&&ed! if I can't get my money back! I didn't read ANYWHERE that said no refunds...
