| My vote is for the Westie cut! It is especially cute on dogs with longer legs |

| I am wondering what to tell the groomer on Katy's first visit. She is 13 weeks. I want her to grow out. Any suggestions on what to tell the groomer?

If you poke around this section you will see a lot of nightmare grooming stories where their dogs get shaved down. IMO if your ultimate goal is to grow her hair out I would def. recommend you do her grooming. I am sure you will do a wonderful job! | |

| Thanks for that good advice! I am getting her used to being combed and brushed twice a day. Her coat looks great. I cannot wait to get a knot on top! I wished she liked to wear her clothes...

| hair cut if you want her to grow out don't let them cut her hair just do nails , ears and butt and feet . i have a 10month old and thats all we do with her . her hair is almost to the floor. i was luck to find a groomer that listens to me and only does what i ask . our other 3 all are differnt, my male is cut short on back longer on sides and face kinda squared off and long top. my one female is just about half grown out because she had puppys last april and other is cut down short , she is due to have puppies on the 13th, i have moms cut short because my other female had a puppy get tangled in her hair and strangle to death the first day i went back to work he was 9 days old . linda. sugar, cota, jazzy, and mercedes |

| I am so sorry about that puppy...I know that was a horrible thing to experience. I had no idea there hair can get to the floor in 10 months. I just told my husband that I can tell her's is growing. 13 weeks. I ordered some minksheen shampoo. I understand that is good stuff. Thanks again.

| She'll get used to wearing clothes.Just keep putting them on her while she's still a puppy. Maybe try something simple like a tank top that doesn't have legs or restrict her movement.
