Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | I found this Yorkie Grooming Video... and would like to know your opinion on what was done and what was used? Is this normal in the show world or normal period? Thanks

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Without been disrespectful, since I know that many of you show, is this the routine a show dog has to go through every time? If so, is it always done in such a hurry? This poor baby, is so well behaved also has a beautiful coat.

| I don't know adding color seems like it is "cheating" and not really the dogs natural coloring; but I do not show so I don't know the ins and outs of showing. I have a hard enough time trying to dry Maybelline. She would really flip out if I tried to come at her with a flat iron.

| I have heard that some do dye their dog's hair, but I believe it is against the rules.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Really interesting video, but I doubt if there is anything "normal" about the show world. These little guys are use to being groomed and that video seems like nothing compared to how long it takes to wrap them. Some Yorkies love the pampering and attention, and when finished they "know" they look great.

| Wrapping doesn't take that long as you would think. 10-15 mins perhaps. Is colouring really OK at shows? Here it's not.. but some do it anyhow |

| Poor Dog... I think the handler/groomer looked like he was rough on the dog!! I did not think you were allowed to dye their coat!! Aren't they to represent the very best of the breed, size and real true coat color?? The dog was well behaved. My kids were never that good in the tub....The finished product was beautiful, But fake none the less... I'm glad I decided not to show Baron. He's beautiful just the way God made him. Original color and all. This video really bothered me... Baron's Mom
