| You could see if your hotel allows dogs but from what I've heard Vegas isn't that pet friendly. Or you could see if you can cancel the trip until you are ready to leave Captain Jack with family. And welcome to YT!!! |

Yorkie Yakker | Hey thanks and thanks Honestly... Thanks so much for your quick response and thanks for your kind welcome. Its so nice having such an amazing dog and finding out others feel the same. Also its not that Jack is going to have problems without me lol no its me I am sure positively without the slightest doubt that everyone here knows exactly how to spoil my little baby. He is the love of our home, and not a sole here feels differently. He has adjusted to every change since I brought him here and I am beginning to think he must like it her. haha. No.. no no its me I will definitely suffer from separation anxiety. Its my husband who will suffer from my behavior he will have to put up with me not wanting to go anywhere not sleeping and calling home all the time. I did the same when the kids were young that is why we only travelled one time without our children until they were old enough. Now in comes another dependent haha and I am so happy. again thanks |

| Hear you. I trying to figure out what to do with my 4 when we go to TX for a couple of days the beginning of April. My problem is I don't trust anyone except my daughter who wants to go with us. I want them with me, but don't want to aggravate my DIL.

| Murfee has always gone with us everyplace. I would check the hotels. I haven't gone to Vegas but other places have let him stay with us....or we just don't tell them Even when i was in the hospital for 2 weeks, my daughter brought Murfee up to see me. Oh and welcome to yt. So glad to have you join us.

| I would leave him with family. I'm going to California next month and wanted to bring my furbabies, but the reason I decided not to was I don't feel comfortable leaving them in a hotel with out me. Yorkie theft scares me a lot, I'm kinda paranoid (better to be safe than sorry though!) And think of all the hotel workers that have access to the rooms when your not there. Just make sure you call and check up on your baby every day! That definitly helps a little bit with missing them.

| Welcome to YT! I would leave him at home, safe & sound. Casino's are not pet friendly & LV Airport is hard enough to get through with just luggage. (really busy) I would not personally leave him unattended in a hotel room in Las Vegas and going out to eat, a show, gambling, shopping or at the pool you cannot have him with you. I live in Reno & go to Vegas quite often to visit one of my friends.

Yorkie Yakker | Thanks for the kind welcome and the support My husband has decided to contact the hotel we are staying in and letting them know the importance of having Jackie with me and if that doesn't work, one of my daughters grade 12 teachers this semister is a small dog trainer and she told me I could send him to school with her and the teacher promised he would be ok with her all day. It really is only three school days. Wow, its funny how often is it you dont look forward to a trip to Vegas this isn't something I am at all looking forward to |

Yorkie Yakker | Thanks for your kind feedback I have caught the drift and fully understand this meaning. I wouldn't bring a baby to Vegas, why bring my Yorkie pup. I wouldn't bring even my growing kids to Vegas because there is really nothing for them and its really just for me if I concider bringing Jacky with me I adore him he is my sweet baby. I have almost recently decided that I am going to quit my job to be with him completely full time because I only trust me with him. ( no bad meaning to my son and my mother but my son is on midnights and is too tired to give him the attention he needs and my mom has forgotten how much time puppies need. I am a new mom all over again. I am not an owner/trainer I dont feel that way (Am I weird?) I feel like I did 14/17 and 19 years ago when I brought home new babies. I feel like a mom of a new addition to my home he is like my baby. I guess I am loosing it, but its true I am hooked on this tiny angel. He has stolen my heart. |

| Just want to say hello and welcome Lucy goes everywhere with me when I travel (and I am a frequent traveler). I finally bought a stroller so she can go even more places with me. I just always make sure the airline and hotel allow her to come. I've also found over the past year that some places that are not pet friendly are swayed by the fact that Lucy is so small and with me at all times. Can't hurt to try.

Yorkie Yakker | Thanks for that I have felt so welcomed by this warm group. Like a family of people who share experiences you can't learn in books its wonderful. My hubby did pick to soon to take me away on vacation with Jackie just recently moving in, so hopefully it will get easier each time we go, and thanks for the suggestion for the stroller I was concidering one for even just going out on weekend shopping trips then he can be in tow without question. I was hoping someone would tell me that because these guys were small enough that they maybe can slip through. I had checked into the airlines and found most allow purse dogs as carry on luggage in the bag which is great. "most" only I have found Southwest has obsticiles to overcome. Thanks again, for being so helpful and welcoming now soon as I figure out how I will put up some photos of my Captain Jack Sparrow. |

| For Future readers of this post. The Four Seasons hotel at Mandalay Bay is pet friendly. I have stayed and seen several dogs. And there is a Westin off strip that I also believe is pet friendly. |
