| PET insurance I currently have VPI pet insurance but after just getting off the phone with them I am LIVID! Diezel had gotten sick back in August, and after running around with them and submitting every single paper possible I am being told now that NOTHING he had done is covered and I am NOT getting $1 back. I am speachless right now. I spent well over $1100 Now I am left feeling that I want to switch insurance companys. Are there any others out there in the NYC area that are good. Any help would be appreciated. I dont want to jump the gun and cancel the policy because that is what I do best. But I cant imagine I pay $35 a month to not get back ANYTHING... Sorry to vent I just dont know what to do right now He needs to have more tests and I was really depending on that money right now! |

| Sorry things don't seem to be working out with VPI. I have them and not had any problems with getting money back but my dogs have had routine procedures done. I don't know of any insurances that you can switch to but if you switch, there now might be pre-existing conditions that a new insurance policy will not cover either. I'd make sure to check into the new policy thoroughly before switching.

| Get some online quotes, and read through the policies - some may cover things, that others don't. |

| I also have VPI, that's frightening to think nothing is covered? I would call again and get another rep and start over like it was the first time your inquiring. I hope they made some sort of mistake. I only put in one claim thus far and did receive a decent reimbursement less the dedutable. Carol & Buddy |

Tiggy has having surgurey soon for Leggs Perthes and they better cover it!!!! But, I'm sorry to hear about your situation, I feel for you so much because i'm about to go through that same possible process I'm also from NYC area, Long Island. check out petcareinsurance.com, there's a member who said it paid 80% for the same condition my Tiggy has. her total was 2500, 80% of that should be pretty much 2000 and so................ can you tell me what the sickness was? what health problem was it? sorry for the problems you are going through
