| It has a lot to do with their size, I'm learning. Mine is 10 weeks old...so also taken too early. I'm new here but I'd say follow the same advice for any tiny puppy when you're ready to get another one. Everyone here is so helpful and they have a lot more experience with these little ones than the vets, at least mine, seem to. Good luck and best wishes.

| This is heartbreaking. I know you must be so devastated. Here's my take, right or wrong. If the breeder is offering you another dog and you accept it, ask her to please keep it with it's mom until 12 weeks. At least then the pup will have grown a little and be more stable to bring home and you'll be a little more comfortable doing this again. If it were me and I paid for a purebred Yorkie, there's no way I'd be satisfied in accepting a YorkiePoo in it's place. Contrary to popular belief, a YorkiePoo is a mixed breed dog and the monetary value is much lower. You can pick one of those up all day long at the shelter for far less than you paid for your Yorkie.

I agree with you totally, I told her i wanted to wait till 12wks. I also told her i wanted a full yorkie she told me she would not have any soon, she just have yorkie-poos, malti-poo, shih tzu, and chihuahua puppies. I feel bad to, now cause i feel like i just got jipped for my money. I have been wanting another yorkie for so long and this is what i had to go thru. I can't buy another one cause of the money issues. That money i saved to get coco, and in just 4 days she dies. All the extra VET bill its just terrible every time i think about it. | |

I agree with you, I think there something not right. I'd save your money and look into a reputable breeder in your area or a rescue. This women seems not a nut and and BYB.

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | Oh no!! I've been following this thread and hoping for the best for this baby...I'm sooo sorry for your loss and that you had to go through this. As others have posted that breeder sold you a sick puppy...please please if you can avoid it dont get another from this breeder, Personally I would not trust her again....I totally understand money issues, please try and wait and find a reputable breeder..in the meantime as others have posted read all you can and buy your breeder first...there are many right here on YT. Again I am very sorry for your loss, my heart just breaks for you. Sending big huggz to you and your family.

| I'm very sorry about your baby... Looks like you found a terrible back yard breeder and I'm very sorry about that too. You deserve a refund on both the baby and your vet bills... I'd take her to small claims court!

| Basically any toy breed puppy can go through this. It is not your fault. The breeder really should have kept her longer. I am sorry for your pain and you will know when the time is right for another little one!

| Not much of a breeder so sorry for your loss. I would demand my money back, and take her to court for the vet cost's. I would not get another puppy from this BREEDER. |
