If the breeder is offering you another dog and you accept it, ask her to please keep it with it's mom until 12 weeks. At least then the pup will have grown a little and be more stable to bring home and you'll be a little more comfortable doing this again.
If it were me and I paid for a purebred Yorkie, there's no way I'd be satisfied in accepting a YorkiePoo in it's place. Contrary to popular belief, a YorkiePoo is a mixed breed dog and the monetary value is much lower. You can pick one of those up all day long at the shelter for far less than you paid for your Yorkie. |
I agree with you totally, I told her i wanted to wait till 12wks. I also told her i wanted a full yorkie she told me she would not have any soon, she just have yorkie-poos, malti-poo, shih tzu, and chihuahua puppies. I feel bad to, now cause i feel like i just got jipped for my money. I have been wanting another yorkie for so long and this is what i had to go thru. I can't buy another one cause of the money issues. That money i saved to get coco, and in just 4 days she dies. All the extra VET bill its just terrible every time i think about it.
