| i am really in shock, Me and My family have been thru so much this week. My 4yr old keeps asking me what happened to Co Co, asking how did she die. It really did something to me emotionally, cause i am afraid to get another one because of what i have been thru. |

| Oh no I'm so sorry! Take your time before getting a new baby, you'll know when you're ready. In the meantime, the breeder should be doing something about all the vet bills you incurred trying to save your little one. She sold you a sick puppy! In all honesty, I would NOT get another puppy from this breeder and would be looking for one that it reputable. Do lots of reading here, there are great tips for finding a GOOD breeder. Sending you and your family hugs!

| Thanks to everyone and there good advice. The breeder offered me another 1 at the end of June. That is probably the only way I would get my money replaced from everything I have been thru and paid out. She did not sound like she was going to give me any money back. What do you guys think about a Yorkie- poo? |

| I'm so sorry for your loss. However, I would not take another puppy from this breeder. I honestly think you'd be setting yourself up for more heartache. Did you pup come with a health guarantee?

| I am soooo sorry about the pain you are having to go thru right now. You take your time to grieve, and then you do this again. While you are grieving, you get you a couple of books that I recommend all my owners get...."Yorkies for Dummies" and "Yorkshire Terriers: A Smart Owners Guide".....you read these books cover to cover, and then you set about finding your a reputable, responsible breeder. ALL YORKIE BABIES LOOK ALIKE ESSENTIALLY, SO YOU MUST CONCENTRATE ON "BUYING" YOU THE RIGHT BREEDER! This breeder loves her babies more than anything else, and she wants ONLY the best for her puppies. If you would have had a reputable breeder with little CoCo, she would have been right there for you, every step of the way, and would have picked up the vet biills, at the VERY LEAST! She would have been every bit, if not more so, as upset and distraught over the death of this baby, as you are. This baby was sick when you got her....that is the breeders respoinsibility...that is why the majority of these breeders dump these babies at 6-8 weeks of age....they dont want the added expense of vaccinations....that is also the prime time for these babies to get sick...they dont want that baby to die on THEM...rather let it die on a new owner, then they have YOU locked into getting yet ANOTHER baby from them! When you get your next Yorkie, if the breeder lets her babies go before they are 12 weeks old, before they are started on their vaccinations, before they are microchipped, before any kind of routine worming schedule has been started, before they have a clean bill of health from HER vet, if she has no contract, if she has no health guarantee that makes provisions for just such an incident as one you have just been thru, YOU RUN!!! YOU ARE NOT AT THE RIGHT BREEDER! You get the right breeder, and you will have a wonderful experience with your next baby. Dont be in a hurry...take your time....it will pay off in the end. Your new baby, from a reputable breeder, will cost you more, but it will be a healthy baby and you wont have the vet bills and the heartache you have now....THAT ALONE is worth the price! |

| I am so sorry for your loss. I have a yorkiepoo that is 10 weeks old and I am currently going through the same issues. He had a seizure on Wednesday. I am round the clock feeding. Having a new puppy is like having a new baby especially if they have issues. I feel for you and your family.

| I am sooooo sorry for your loss. I wouldn't get another puppy from the same breeder. Please please please listen to what everyone on here says about waiting to get a furbaby at 12 weeks. The people here have so much knowledge and experience and only want the best. Give yourself time to grieve. Again I am very sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family.
