| Both dogs sick..... Maisies poos became a bit sticky last Tues. Wednesday I put a advocate spot on on her cos she was scratching a lot. From then on she had diarrhoea. I know she was sensitive to the last worming tablet so it's likely that. Very sleepy from wed to sat, then off food on sat and just not herself. Took her to vet on sat evening and she got tiny dose of antibiotic and steroid and nearly back to normal on sunday. On Sunday toby was vomitting and again today. He also had diarrhoea yesterday and today. I started to change his food from orijen to totw about Thursday but it was a very slow change with very little totw. Do u think they could both had a bug or is it a coincidence that maisie reacted to the spot on and toby to the food at the same time? Should I take toby to the vet? Have started him on rice and natural yogurt. |

| It's possible they both had a bug. According to my vet; they get bugs and virus's just like we do. I wouldn't let diarrhea go on for very long. Good that you are trying rice; perhaps a bland diet of chicken and rice this evening will help. If it does, I would probably keep them on that for a couple of days. If not, I would go back to the Vet. Good Luck!
