| Lexie update 2-18-9 4:45pm update ~Lexie came through the surgery "very well". Lexie will be in ICU for 24 hours after the surgery. The shunt showed up easily in the ultra sound on Monday, allowing the surgeons to access the shunt quickly. I didn't talk to Kim after their 8:00pm update. The vet tech "Carla" assigned to Lexie calls them everyday at 8:00am and 8:00pm. Kim is very comfortable with the care that Lexie is receiving. If recovery goes as expected Lexie will return home on Friday. I have copied and pasted all your messages to Kim and Steve. They want to thank you for all the well wishes and prayers. |

| What great news! Praying she recovers quickly and is back home for a good dose of cuddling. Hope to meet this little one at a future meetup!

| 8:00 am update 2.18.9 Lexie is doing so well! She is off of IV's, out of intensive care, eating on her own, pottying and playing. Everything is looking good, she will be on a restricted diet, no protein. Apology for the delayed updates. I hope to catch up tonight with the 8:00pm call from the vet med tech. Thank you! lots wiggles and kisses from Lexie, Carlie and Rocky. We are just so relieved! |

| I'm so glad she's doing so well! I've heard it's pretty amazing how much more active they are immediately after surgery
