| Kong Wubba Choking Our poor little Gracie was sent into emergency surgery today after chewing off one of the 'legs' of a Kong Wubba and swallowing it WHOLE! If you have one of these make sure you watch your little one carefully. Gracie only had hers for a couple minutes before this happened. |

| She is doing ok. The vet was very impressed with how well she came out of surgery and will only have to go in tomorrow to be observed. The vet that we go to is SO good but with a 1200 dollar vet bill-- we are probably doing worse than she is. We will contact the company so that they are aware of the issue. I don't want this to happen to any other little ones. |

| Poor little girl....i glad she came out of surgery well....after i read you post I started looking for a customer service number or anything on the Kong website and it seems the only thing it will let you do is leave a comment. I couldnt find a number I feel they should reimburse you on the vet bill....a brand new toy shouldnt break like that. Here is the Kong web site...hopfully you will have better luck with find a way to contact them. Ill be keeping little Gracie in my thoughts and prayers! | Update Quote:
Gracie is home now and recovering. She has spent most of the day cuddled up with me and sleeping. She is now on a special diet and we will slowly start her back up on regular food in a few days. We are in the process of contacting the company today. Someone from the company is supposed to call us back tomorrow morning to discuss what happened. I'm just still so horrified that this happened to Gracie and I don't want it to happen to anyone else! The Wubba toy is a fairly new addition to the KONG products so I think it is important they know what happened. | |

| How scary! Alfie has the Wubba toy. I'm going to think twice about giving it to him now. I hope your little furbaby is feeling better and is back to her sweet self soon. |

| Thank heavens Gracie is going to be ok. I have learned the hard way, NOT TO TRUST anything on the market today! I don't believe there are many safe toys for small dogs. I hope the Kong Co. does the right thing and pays the vet bill. The important thing is that Gracie is going to get well. Thank you for warming us about this toy. |
