| Sounds like you are doing what you need to do. Just keep your eye on her. Sometimes you can tell if they are getting any nutrition when they are vomiting if the vomit is noticably less than their intake. |

| Also try giving her nutrical. Can't take any chances with these babies especially the tiny ones. Normally when mine are feeling under ther weather they get IV's and are back to normal in no time. Any bloodwork test done? Praying for your baby. |

But we always give nutrical and let them drink some pedylite. once they feel better you can give her a little boiled chicken and rice. | |

| The same EXACT thing just recently happaned to my Zeus, and I rushed him to the emergency. I did not feed him that night when I got home. They gave him fluids subq which was an adequate amount of nutrients, so I didn't have to feed him that night. I was told to slowly introduce food to him in the morning. I was instructed to give him a half a tablespoon of food, wait a half hour after he ate the small amount, and give him a little bit more if he did not throw up. I increased the amount throughout the day until I felt comfortable giving him a full meal. Vet told me to give him something bland. He is currently on a raw diet and the vet said raw lamb was ok to give. Dogs are much like us when we are nauseous and vomitting. We can only tolerate a small amount of bland food. Chicken and rice was also recommended.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sounds like you are doing everything you should. Hopefully the meds will kick in soon. I would get him to a vet right away. Could be colitis/IB but when Cali had blood in vomit and poop she had HGE. Hopefully it is not that but you need to find out and get him some treatment. Please keep us posted.

my dog had that; and i had to switch her diet from kibble to the honest kitchen; that way i make sure she has enough water; also i add digestive enzymes and probiotic; now she's fine. also if your baby won't eat in the begining; besided boiled chicken and rice; you can feed baby gerber food just to get him to eat; and u can add the probiotic and digestive enzymes. good luck
